Welcome!
We have now reached the final arc of Beyond the Classroom.
This one's called "Assault on Apocalypse" arc.
To put it simply, this is where the CSD finally takes it to Apocalypse.
I won't go over too many details until you go through the whole thing as I get these chapters out.
Anyway, here's the OP song for this final arc and ironically and fitting named:
"The Beginning" by ONE OK ROCK but I'm using the cover version by Against the Current and...yeah in Nightcore just to make it sound more action packed.
With that out of way, enjoy what will be a true emotional rollercoaster.
A day after the meeting at Mt. Fuji
12:12 PM
Yokohama, Japan
Within the ADA's office.
Edogawa Ranpo just returned as he was holding a tablet in hand. As he arrived back to the base, he was slightly tired and also sweaty.
Ranpo: Damn...I've never been this tired in my life...but this needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.
Fukuzawa: Ranpo, there you are.
Ranpo looked up ahead and saw a certain president standing before him.
Ranpo: Ohh hey president, you heard the news, right?
Fukuzawa: Of course, and it seems that things are going to get worse soon.
Ranpo: Then we need to act now. We have to find Fyodor before he cooks up a new scheme that will cause more problems as it is.
Fukuzawa: I do agree...but even if we make a move, we still do not know about the whereabouts of Apocalypse's base of operations.
Ranpo: Has Dazai even found anything?
Fukuzawa: Unfortunately, nothing so far.
Ranpo: Great...
Fukuzawa: While Apocalypse should be our priority. Crimes have started ramping up all over the country after the death of the prime minister. While it wasn't long for Kijima to step up and immediately retaking his position just hours ago thanks to Dazai presenting the evidence of Kario and Tsuruoka's crimes to the parliament. It's not going to be enough to quell the ongoing chaos across the nation.
Ranpo: I know. Ever since the former prime minister's death and the information about his alliance with Apocalypse became public. Massive uproars began to happen and almost every part of Japan has become terrified and even paranoid towards the government in regard to the fact that they worked with terrorists behind the scenes, and who could blame them? Still, I don't know why the government would make all of this information public in the first place. Dazai explicitly told them not to.
Fukuzawa: Well, it is the government, and I don't blame them for speaking out the truth...but given the circumstances and such. Any form of trust towards the government is at an all-time low.
