At a cafe, Shiro begins to question Akane about her recent breakup with Aqua.
After gaining interesting information from her. Shiro started checking up on what's been going on in Akane's life.
Shiro: So, what exactly happened?
Akane: Well...I think it's around a week or two after the incident on the Suijin. We went on our usual hangout, chatted a bit...and then he dropped the bomb on me.
*Flashback*
Aqua: I'm breaking up with you
Akane: What!?
Aqua: You heard me. This relationship is over.
Akane: But why!? Where did come from!?
Aqua: I know it's sudden, but ever since a certain man was put to justice. I no longer need you anymore.
Akane: You're not making sense.
Aqua: Fine, then I'll make this clear. This relationship between you and I...it was all part of a scheme of mine to find my father.
Akane: Father?
Aqua: That's right. The man that was arrested on that ship. The one with the black stars for eyes. That is my father.
Akane: No way...so that means you're-
Aqua: The son of Kamiki Hikaru...yes. The same one.
Akane: I could see the resemblance, but I just don't get it. How could you just break up with me like this?! What did I do to you!?
Aqua: Nothing really. But you've already played your role and I'm sorry to say that it is curtains for our relationship.
Akane is still confused but also distraught at what she's hearing from him.
Aqua: To tell you the truth. The only reason why I started getting close to you is to look into the company, Lala Lai Theatrical Company for information since that's one of the few places where my father would've likely worked before as an actor.
Akane: What? Your father used to work for Lala Lai?
Aqua: Correct. In fact, I managed to get that info due to some...new connections so to speak.
Akane: Let me guess. Did it involve a person named Ayanokouji?
Aqua: You know who he is?
Akane: Well...a friend of mine told me about him.
Aqua: That friend...wouldn't that happen to be Masakatsu Shiro, is it?
Her expression got more serious as Aqua mentioned Shiro.
Akane: Good guess...
Aqua: Anyway, back on topic. I was already satisfied when my father is put to justice but honestly, I wanted him dead for what he did to Ai.
Akane: Ai? You mean Hoshino Ai!?
Aqua nodded.
Akane: But...wouldn't that mean-
Aqua: I don't want to stand here and discuss their history to you. Besides, what's done is already done by this point.
He then proceeds to turn his back on Akane.
Aqua: Again...I apologize. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but this relationship was never meant to be in the first place. Everything was all to ensure I finally put an end to my father. To be honest, he's better dead than being locked up but I suppose it can't be helped.
