GEORGE

I walk around the room and place a soundproof barrier around the room with my magic as I know the Beta will try to listen in.

Gerald lets out a long breath. "I am so sorry, George. I was told to tell you about the rogue by the Alpha. I met with him, Beta Michael, Luna Sophie, their son Nathaniel, and his Beta in line with Dane. They wanted to know about us, why all the supernatural beings come to the town." I give him a stern look, but he carries on. "Before you ask, I mentioned nothing about Mila but they asked if there were any wolves that have come through as a rogue mentioned a wolf that lived near here. I am assuming the rogue was on about Faith. I told them we have had no wolves stay, only passing through as we all have issues with wolves," he says and takes another breath. "They are a wealthy pack. The house is being done out at the moment and all pack members are creating their own homes."

I look at him. "I don't know what to suggest. The Alpha tells his Beta to come here to say things and now we have to follow them like dogs," I say, sounding really annoyed.

"I think we should let them come here, but I think we should tell all the townspeople that they are coming as they can prepare," says Margo.

"I agree with Margo. If they come and visit, they probably will not like the town and hopefully leave us alone," says Gerald.

I turn my attention to Skylar, who looks more pissed off than I do. "I don't want them here. They will cause problems and not only that, we have Mila to consider, we need to keep her safe from any wolves," she says.

I look at them as Barry comes through the door. "I waited for him to leave. He had three wolves waiting for him at the border. I didn't open the door. They all just stood there, looking at the building. I am so glad you put the sound barrier up, I think they realized what you did as they looked pissed off and shifted into their wolves, made a run towards the clearing," he sighs "I don't know what to think, there is a good possibility that they will have more to offer as to work if we let them in for now. But I think we should let the people decide what they want. It would be great for businesses, but also many of the people here have come here to get away from wolves and other threats."

"We all have to consider it, but I have to think what is best for this town not only that, Mila too. Faith wanted me to protect her till she comes of age eighteen, which she will be in a few days. I know she hates wolves, but she doesn't know why she hates them." I sigh. "Faith was the best part of this town when she came here. We need to honor that."

"If the wolves come into town as they want to witness other supernaturals they might help us, especially with the rogues. There are only so many times that Mila and Sapphire can save or even help us," I finally say, but the door creeks open, and in walks, my mother, Gloria smiling.

"I think we should let them in son, Mila needs to be with her own kind and we all know about her power but if we keep her hidden away any longer, she will not only become angrier but her power will become darker which will not be good for any of us or the wolves. When you told us about Faith, we all agreed to protect Mila, keep her safe, and ensure her wolf identity remains concealed. Both Sapphire and Mila have been invaluable to us for the past twelve years, and we all hold great affection for her. We just need to make sure the pack is the best, like the Beta says," she says as she takes a seat next to Margo.

"How did you know what the Beta said?" I ask but knowing my mother, she was here already. She looks at me and smiles. "You know I would be here early, especially if it's done with Mila."

"I think we should make a list of what we want the wolves to do and come to an agreement," I say and all the members nod their heads with the agreement.

This might take a long time to discuss.

Everyone takes their seats. I am about to, but Gerald nods towards the door.

He clearly has something on his mind. I stand and walk towards the door, just to close it after my mother.

"Let them know about the pack," he says in a whisper.

"I will, but at the moment, she just wants us to keep Mila safe. Her powers are not strong enough yet," I say and turn to head towards the table.

I take my seat. "Well, let's discuss this," I say. Everyone nods in agreement.
