"I need to talk to Mila; I need to talk to her now. It is about Faith, her mother," I said, standing right behind the guard.

I stare back at the wolves. Emily comes running towards me and hugs me straight away. I can feel her mate tense. Knowing he had no option in any of this, which is all because of his stupid alpha. I couldn't help but look at them all, especially the young alpha. He is going to feel my wrath later. He should have known who Mila was.

I look around at everyone standing on the steps, but I soon realize that Mila isn't there. But Emily can sense my concern.

"She just turned into Sapphire and ran fast in that direction, Dad," says Emily, showing me where they ran too. Sapphire will know where they have to go. The Moon Goddess will protect her and guide her. She is, after all, her child.

I nod. "We need to prepare. We have a war coming and it involves all of you," I say, taking a few steps towards them with Emily following by the side of me.

"What the hell do you mean, war? What the hell is going on?" roars Alpha Leon, glaring at me while holding his trembling Luna.

"I will explain everything," I am now stopping in front of both of them, but I look at Luna Sophie and touch her arm. "I need to tell you about Faith, about everything, please Luna. She told me all about you and your family. She told me I could tell you if I ever found you as she trusted you, to protect Mila, to protect every supernatural being. Please," I say, sounding demanding but also calm.

She looks at me and nods her head. "Somehow I believe you, in the office now," she says and we all follow her towards the office. I can see smashed glass on the floor; I'm assuming Sapphire had to change in a hurry while being inside.

I felt separate arms on each of my hands; I look both ways to see my darling wife and daughter. Sybil must have been following me, but I didn't even notice. I needed to get to Mila, and fast. Emily is going to be stunned when she realizes the memory that I have kept from her. We had to. Mila needs to find him. She will come back. After all the pain Mila went through, Emily and my mother wanted to help her with her pain, or at least take some of it away. It was a lot to handle for both of them. Taking away her memories was to help them, too.

We walked into the office and everyone took seats that were placed around the room. I notice the young Alpha leaning against the wall, my daughter's mate, the guilt and shame consuming him.

"Well, proceed, we haven't got all day. We need to find Mila," he says to me.

"I would suggest, young Alpha, you calm down. We can't go looking for Mila, she will be back," I say.

"What do you mean by that? We have to search for her," he snarls at me. I can tell he is trying to control his wolf.

I am about to tell him no, but Emily beats me to it.

"No, we don't. Listen to my father, Nate. Mila is safe. She has to do this," my daughter says, but turns to me. "What's going on Dad?"

I look at them all and sigh. "I'm assuming you know what happened to Faith's pack? They sent her away with Gamma Richard while they killed her pack. Right after they killed her mate in the attack, they left. They traveled for days; it must have been two weeks by the time they came into our town," I say, remembering the night like it was yesterday. "It was really late at night; I was closing up after my duties in the hospital when they both entered. Faith looked ill, pale, and in a lot of pain. I could feel the pain radiating off her. It wasn't the pain of losing her mate but of all the pack members that were being hunted and killed, but not only that she was sick, too." I said, looking at them all.

"They both felt all of their pack members die through the pack bond, Faith and Gamma Richard. She lost everyone she knew: her mate, the pack and father all in the space of five weeks." I look around at all the faces. "She was sick because of being pregnant. She didn't even realize, because of the pain of heartache, she couldn't register it. When I told her, she fainted. She was in shock."

"She was alive," says Luna Sophie in a small voice, a few tears sliding down her face.

I nod. "Yes, she was. They wanted to leave the country. But I told them they could stay here in the town till she could get back on her feet," I said. "But I have to say, through all the commotion, I didn't even realize that they were werewolves, not till a little while later. They were using a spray that could mask their scent."

"You see, our town has never had any wolves in years, so I knew it would be hard to convince all the people here to let them stay. So I took them back to our house, where she and Gamma Richard could stay for the night. But after that night, I convinced them to stay with us," I said.

"We let them stay in our holiday cabin in the forest, about an hour or two from here," says Sybil.

I smile at her. "They wanted to hide. They didn't tell us anything about what they went through for a while. I wanted to gain their trust, so I waited for them to tell me. I went to see them every week, taking food and clothes, the essentials. Anything they needed. Despite her mate dying, Faith tried to stay positive but still felt lost. However, she had hope because of her child. We planned for her to have her baby in the cabin and when the time came to deliver the baby, it was a girl. She was shocked and happy. She told us a story that her mother was a witch who couldn't conceive a child. Every night she would pray to the Moon Goddess and other gods. Her prayers were answered by the Moon Goddess one night. She was pregnant with Faith. Alpha William and his mate were happy but shocked when Faith, the only girl ever born in the pack from the alpha bloodline, came into the world. They received a blessing, but soon realized that faith was special. The Moon Goddess came to them in a dream and told them Faith would be the key to the supernatural balance. She stated she would be her creation. As I soon learned, the Moon Goddess creation was of a white wolf and Faith was a white wolf too."

"Faith was a white wolf, why wouldn't she tell me?" says Luna Sophie, sounding confused.

I looked at her and smiled. "They had to protect her. So everyone who needed to know did, but Faith didn't have any power when she shifted, but when she met her true mate, she gained some. Faith was told to hide her wolf from the other wolves, as there was a looming threat. A friend of the Alpha Williams found out and wanted her for himself. His name was Dallas. He wanted the power, the heirs; he wanted everything that she could offer him. Alpha William banished him from the pack when he found out what he wanted and after many attempts to take her away." I looked at everyone and stop.

I knew they needed all this to let it sink in. But carried I had to carry on.

"She told me she was forced to keep quiet by her father, as she was his only child. Only certain members of the pack knew who she was. It was nothing against you Luna Sophie." I look at her and smile. "When she gave birth to Mila, she was happy. They replaced the sadness with hope and love for the child. We made sure we put a protective barrier around the cabin. She wanted to stay in the cabin till Mila was old enough to walk and travel but they ended up staying for a few more years, they were happy and we still visited them even Emily did."

I turned to Emily and blew the remainder of the gold dust in her face. She closes her eyes and remembers all the good times she had together. She has tears flowing down her cheeks.

"Why did you take the memories? We knew each other? Why make it only from when you found her?" But before I could answer, the memory that is coming holds the key to why this is happening. She grips the table and I can feel her powers surging high. I hold her hand till it finishes. Her eyes are full of rage and her purple eyes coming through, but I think it is for the sadness of her friend.
