Chapter 61

The next morning, I call a meeting in the office.

Dane, Emily, Beta Michael, my father, mother, Sam, Gloria, Miles and Anna are all sitting around the big table.

I tell them everything about the Moon Goddess coming to me and what she told me. It was a tremendous shock to everyone, but they were all trying to wrap their heads around all the information.

"What was the woman's name again?" asks Anna suddenly, who looks like she has seen a ghost by the name I mentioned.

"Aria, do you know of her?" I ask her.

She looks on in shock, but snaps out of it as soon as Miles touches her shoulder. She looks hurt for some strange reason and asks, "Why would I be left here with you if both me and Libelle cannot get through to Archer?" she asks, sounding worried.

I shrug, but I have a theory, though. "I don't know, but I have a theory about that. I think the Moon Goddess sent Mila to do whatever she needs to do. You have more insight on this Aria person so you can tell us. But I think Archer has his own quest with the Moon Goddess."

She looks back and takes in what I've said. "I think you might be right. If Mila cannot contact any of you, then he must not be able to contact me. We hate not hearing from him," she says with a sigh.

She looks down at the table "Aria was supposed to be our younger brothers mate but he never felt the mat bond connection with her as mates should but with everything you have just told us, she could manipulate other men into believing that they are her mates."

She looks up. "She must have some dragon blood for some spells she has done. Our blood is more powerful when it connects with magic. But imagine mixing dragon blood with a white wolf. It would be deadly for anyone. She would become more powerful."

We all take in what she said. She must be right. Dragon blood is more magical because of the magnificent creatures that they are and some legends only told in stories. But if the White wolf is to be captured, she would have control over everyone, including the wolves.

A growl escapes my mouth. Everyone looks at me.

"I think we should pretend that Mila is here, give her that elusion that she is, she won't go after Mila especially if she thinks she is here," they all nod in agreement."I think we can come up with some precautions around here to make sure we are all safe and also make sure people around here in the pack know she is still here such as she is helping me with duties around the pack or something."

I look over at Miles. "Would you, Ella and Anna, like to live here with us? I know you will want to wait till Mila comes back and sees her," I say with a hint of hope.

Miles smiles at me. "I'm of Alpha blood, but I believe I am needed here with you. I will gladly stay here. I will gladly stay here. I will let Alpha Carson know as soon as we are done, I will need to explain a few reasons I am staying here but leaving a few things out but he knows we are here because of Mila, he will understand," he turns to Ella who is nodding in agreement "I want to wait for my sister-in-law to come back and think she will be happy to know that she is an auntie" she says with a big smile on her face.

I smile and all three of us look at Anna. She smiles and nods. "I go wherever Miles goes; but I will send word for my mate to come here if that is ok. I know Archer and Mila will come back here knowing they have family waiting for them," she says with a small smile.

I look over at Emily, who is in some sort of fight in her head as she is staring blankly into thin air. "She's ok young Alpha, she is processing her grief" says Gloria with a smile.
