NATHANIEL

I stare back at the closed door of the warlock's room. I wanted to say so much more, but I couldn't.

I turn around and head to the office again as I find my parents talking quietly behind my father's desk.

They both look up at me. "Are you okay, son?" asks my father as my mother comes to me and gives me a hug.

I can't help feeling lost. All the information that I was told came through like a hurricane. I felt all the emotions about my mate, from what she went through to how guilty I felt for hurting for the last few weeks.

"I'm fine," I say weakly. I take a seat on the opposite side of my father's desk, with my mother sitting next to me.

Before anyone could speak, there was a knock at the door. My father calls for them to come in.

The door opens, and Alyssa and her parents walk in. They have smiles on their faces.

Ox is on all paws, growling in my head.

"Good Evening, Alpha. You summoned us to come to you. Is this about our daughter becoming the next Luna?" says her mother with a bright smile.

I let a growl slip through, which startles everyone.

Alyssa looks alarmed but recovers quickly.

"No," says my father through gritted teeth. "No, she will not become the next Luna as Nathaniel has found his mate, and I am pleased to say it is not your scheming daughter."

Her parents look shocked. "Alpha, please, what..." her father says, but my father growls at them all.

"Enough. The three of you will leave this pack for good tonight," he says with a snarl. I can't help but smirk.

"WHY?" shouts Alyssa. She looks at me with pleading eyes, but I hate the sight of her. Ox hates her as much as I do after what she did to my brother.

My father is about to answer her, but I have had enough. "Why? Because you are a scheming slut who likes to blackmail young boys," I shout while letting some of my alpha aura slip through, which makes all three of them bend their necks to me.

"Why would I take you as my Luna? You are nothing but a slimy slut who opens her legs to everyone. You blackmailed my brother into thinking he wasn't good enough to be an alpha for this pack. You blackmailed him," I shout. I can sense my mother coming close to me. She wants to calm me down, but my emotions overwhelm me.

Alyssa looks at me pale while her parents look disgusted and stare back at her. "You did what!" shouts her father.

Alyssa says nothing, she looks at me but suddenly a smile forms on her face "Well the cat is out of the bag then, but I have some information about that counter girl at the café, she's a wolf," she says smugly.

I step closer to her and smile. "We know," I say through gritted teeth.

"How?" she says, trying to grasp what I just said with wide eyes.

"George, the warlock from the town, informed us earlier tonight," says my father as he gets up from his chair and comes to my side. "George is the town's mayor, and he wanted to clear the air after we all calmed down after the fight outside the pack house."

Alyssa looks dumbfounded.

My father glares at the three of them. "Now, your daughter hurt my son and the lives of this pack."

"No, I never!" she says, looking worried now.

"You did," says my mother, who has been quiet by the other side of me, she glares at her, "I asked you to make sure that Sam and Simon were located and in the bunker, you were supposed to be fighting alongside me, but you hid in the bunker and left my son and his friend to defend for themselves in the fight," she says with a hiss. She steps closer. "I will kill you if I ever see you again in this pack and Alyssa," she says. The sound of a slap echoes around the office. "That's for Nate's mate."
