NATHANIEL

I looked at the warlock.

George looks startled. "I didn't mean to," he spatters back. "Mila's wolf was young, so it was easy to manipulate her. After several years, I found a spell that I could use to control her mind and take away her memories. I wanted her to kill wolves, her own kind. She was the most powerful and strongest out of all the town, and I thought it would be ironic if she killed wolves. We all hated them. I manipulated her mind as my own and made her hate her own kind, which wasn't too hard. Pack members couldn't defeat her. Rogues feared her," he says and sighs.

"It was during interrogation with a rogue that I discovered that Devon was working with Yariel and someone else. But the stupid mutt didn't know who it was. They stayed in the dark. They only told the rouges to capture the white wolf more powerful than the one before. Devon thought the one who mates with her or her loved one could control the power. After killing the rogue, I compelled Sapphire to step forward and subjected either her or Mila to torture to control them both. When they didn't tell me, I would torture them more. I made sure it was painful. Neither knew anything."

Both Ox and I growl loudly. "YOU TORTURED HER. YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO LOVE AND PROTECT HER."

He looks at me, but I lunge forward and punch him straight in the face, hard. I hear his nose crack. I broke it. He grunts in pain but smirks back, "I wanted nothing to do with that worthless wolf. She was naïve. I hated all wolves, including her. She was a means to an end. I wanted to control her. I wanted her power. I wanted to be the most powerful warlock. Come on; you haven't thought about it; you are her mate," he says, looking at me but turning his head to my really quiet father. "Come on, Alpha Leon, you wanted to control her."

I look at my father, but I turn back. "She might be my mate, but I would have let her live her life as a person, not in my control," but before I could finish, my father spoke. "Son, think about what he is saying. A white wolf to control, we would be more powerful."

I turn back at him and glared, he can't be serious.

"I don't think we should talk like that in front of the prisoner, but I will talk to you after," I snarl at him. "Get out of the cell and be quiet, or I will take over the pack now. I will fight you before everyone here to regain that title you love so much, old man."

My father looks at me, shocked, angered, and mortified. But before he can say anything, I smirk, "Actually, guards take my father to his office, keep him there till I come back up, and don't let him out."

"You can't do this, Nathaniel. I'm the Alpha," he says, grinning, but he turns away when he looks at my face. "I might not be Alpha, but I will state one thing, Father: I will kill you in front of the pack and show you how weak you truly are, and I will not need Mila to help me. Dane, stay with him," I said.

Once my father, the guards, and Dane left, Miles and I left in front of George, who seemed shocked at my outburst.

"I would keep talking now," I say before a growl escapes my lips. "My wolf is not patient, and he would love to rip you in two."

George looks at me. "What else is there I need to tell you? I told you everything," he says smugly.

"WHY WOULD YOU NEED THE POWER OF THE WHITE WOLF?" My wolf roars, getting furious at this warlock.

George looks startled, but before he can say anything. "Dad, you best tell him everything, or I will swear to the Moon Goddess I won't be countable for my actions."

I see Emily staring at her father through the gate, and Anna slides back in through the side. "Father, I have now regained all my memories, and I would love to kill you after what you put my sister through, not to mention what you made me watch while being held by my mother," she hisses. I can see her power forming and her eyes changing from normal to purple. She is a pissed-off witch.

George gulps. "You are my daughter. How dare you speak to me like that," he says, but he soon regrets what he just said as Emily grips his neck and squeezes. "I will hurt you. You know more. Explain now!" she says. She is one witch. I thought I didn't want to get on the wrong side, but Ox agreed.

George breathes quickly as she lets her hand leave his neck. "You are so stupid, child; you have been around these wolves for far too long," he says through gritted teeth. He looks back up at us. "Mila has one hell of a curse that follows her. She must deal with it, or you may never see her again," he smirks. "If I know, Yariel and Devon are coming sooner."

"What are you talking about? What curse?" I snarl, not liking the answers we are getting.

"You still don't know about that one. You see, the torture techniques on Sapphire and Mila were for them to tell me, but you're stupid. Moon Goddess never explained that part to them," he says, and then suddenly, he is doubled over as Miles gives him a fierce punch to the stomach.

"The Moon Goddess is not to be messed with, warlock; if Mila has a curse following her, then we will know," snarls Miles, who grabs his hair before throwing another punch, but this time it is aimed at his nose, which as soon as it comes into contact, breaks even more. You can hear the crack sound very loud, and George screams.

"Miles, I think we will leave now," says Anna. "I think we all should before, as more blood is being spilled soon."

Anna looks at all three of us before she ushers us out. Before I leave, I look back at George. "You will stay here, and I will deal with your punishment soon. It will be a quick death."

"What about my wife?" Georges says quietly, but Emily quickly mentions it before I can give any remark back. "I don't think Mother Dearest will survive after what I put her through, plus she is suffering in silence now." She stares at her father with her purple eyes glowing brighter.
