MILA
I am so pissed at Sapphire. She blocked me again. I want to know what's wrong or why she acted like that.
When I came back into focus, Emily left my room without saying a word, wondering where she had gone.
Still annoyed with Sapphire, I placed a block up and made sure she realized how I felt every time she did it to me when she was talking to everyone, leaving me out of everything.
I pulled on the skinny jeans, pulled a sports bra and baggy off-the-shoulder top over them, and put back on my sneakers. I head straight to the hall.
The hall itself was huge, and tables lined up in rows. I spot George, Archer, Anna, Miles, and Ella. I walk over to them when an omega comes in with a plate full of food. She hands me the plate. It's full of all the meats you can think of.
My stomach growls. I look around, and everyone is smiling at me except Archer, his face full of concern.
"Little dove, why have you blocked your wolf?" he says through our mind link.
"She blocked me earlier from talking to Emily. She did it to me all the time in the past while she was talking to everyone about stuff when I had no memories. "I'm going to treat her the same way she treated me," I say, feeling angry.
"That's a childish little dove. You both are one," he says, but before he can say anything, I speak.
"Well, that's what's happening? I have had loads of secrets for most of my life. Sapphire should have told me everything. She hid stuff from me too, not just this morning but something else, but I don't know what. I'm not talking about this anymore, so drop it," I say, cutting off the mind link.
I block him and Drack from my mind.
I can feel Archer's eyes on me, but he says nothing. He gets up to leave. "I have to go," and he moves from the table with that. Anna looks at me. "I will make sure he is okay?" she says, nodding toward Miles but avoiding my gaze as she leaves.
I eat my food, and I look up to see Miles looking back at me. George also went at some point. Why do they do that?
"You okay, Mila?" Miles says, which startles me.
I looked at him, and once I finished a mouthful of bacon. "I'm okay, I'm just having a weird morning with my wolf and Archer," I finally say.
"Can I help with anything? I want to get to know you, and if there are any problems you may have, maybe you could share them with me. I'm a good listener," he says with a small smile.
I look back at my food but have slowly gone off it. I need to talk to someone. I have so many mixed feelings; I look back at him. He is talking to his mate, Ella. She has just finished her food.
He notices me looking at them and smiles. "Ella has been having a rough time with this pregnancy, so she will take a nap, as being pregnant is taking out of her," he says as he turns to a man who then leaves with Ella, following her.
"Can we go for a walk?" I ask suddenly. "Around the grounds."
He nods. He lets me finish my food and tells me about his favorite things while I tell him mine. Once I have finished, we leave and head through the front door.
We walk around the grounds, but we head to the place where Dane, Emily, and Nate found me before the fight. We walk to the cliff top, taking the shortcut.
Once at the cliffs, we took in the view. On the trail walk, we still talked about some bits of each other while we took in the view. He could sense my hostile feelings. He turned to me as I took a seat on the enormous boulder.
