It's been hours walking through this forest while you four are having trouble walking through this heavy snow on the ground.
Well the creature was having a fun time to be honest as he was diving through the snows and burying himself then jumping through another snow again.
"You know..I don't regret that the creature found you first because that is beginning to irritate me"
Heise said while you chuckled a little.
"Oh come on heise, it's not his fault that you made him part wolf"
"...."
"But still let him, it's not like his harming you in anyway"
"Whatever"
He sigh and kept walking through the heavy snow while you followed him and Ethan with your pet behind you still enjoying himself with the snow.
Few more minutes you reach the village and you looked back and can see the castle from here.
You turned your attention back at the village and it was surprising how many people live in this village and it's quite huge compare to the abandoned one though the people seems suspicious even though they look normal like any human being.
"We're here"
Heise said and went beside Ethan as he look at the villagers one by one and you on the other hand look to your surroundings.
"They seem to be normal people but soul never lies"
"What do you mean?"
"I smell people's souls and can tell if they are a sinner or pure"
"Sinner smells like cooked meat while pure smells like flower which I know what to eat and what to not eat"
"So you eat souls?"
"What do you think I did to those creature whose heart is not missing but dead?"
"I see...make sense now"
"Speaking of those creatures, I guess you went to take some part of them to this one"
You said pointing the creature who was Coming towards your direction.
"Yeah, I mean they are more smarter than any of my lycans so I'm beginning to think it's a failure because look at him"
"Now, now you should cherish your work"
"Yeah and you should probably duck right now"
"What-"
Suddenly you were push towards the village and the creature landed on top of you and snuggled liked a puppy to which you groan because your face met the ground to which your covered in snow now.
People then started looking at you and the creature to which the two immediately went to you and kneel down so people can't see the creature.
The creature snuggled to you like a dog while you move up and turn around before pulling the hood down so people can't see his face.
Though you smiled a bit and pat the creature's head.
"There you go, good boy"
"He really acts like a dog huh?"
Ethan said and heise suddenly spoke.
"You and your dog needs to get up before we get anymore suspicious"
He said and you look to see some people now looking at you and you sigh and put your pet to the side while you stood up and took some snow off your cloaks while you adjusted the hood of your pet again and dusted some snow off the cloak.
"Ehem..sorry about the commotion of that fellas, everything is fine now our little friend here is just drunk"
Heise said patting the head of your pet and people then started to mind their own business and heise smiled to himself and looked at you.
"Your welcome"
He said while you just chuckled and shook your head.
"What's the plan?"
You asked while Ethan stop beside you and pointed what seems to look like a bar.
"We get information from that bar because most of the people that works often to their so called leader go there to drinks or have fun if they don't plan on attacking us"
"I see.. that's..quite a small bar don't you think?"
"Oh you'd be surprised to see what's inside"
Heise said and went going while you three followed. You went inside the bar but then a big man stop you all from coming in and looked at you sternly.
"What's the word?"
He asked while heise smiled and told him something in Romanian to which must be a code in order to get inside.
The man then nodded and went out of your way while he spoke.
"Welcome again, berg"
"Thank you, big guy"
He then went inside with you following behind him and you looked around and was surprised by how huge it was and can see too many people drinking and having fun.
It seems like your in just a bar through the modern city and you can't help but smiled.
"Been a long time since I went to a fun bar"
You mumbled and your pet kept close to you and was moving his head to your shoulder.
You looked and can see him covering his ears, maybe because the music was too loud for him.
You then went to looked around and found a back door as you took your pet there and opened the door while you took him inside.
"Alright, boy. Stay here until I came back okay? If you see a suspicious person here, bite his head off"
You said and your pet seems to understand you somehow and you smiled and pat it's head before closing the door and you went to find Ethan and heise because you lost them.
You went through the crowds and push people off your way while trying to find the two from the crowds.
Not long you found them in the corner while you approached and ethan was the first one to see you.
"There you are..where's your pet?'
"I took him in the back door because he can't handle loud music"
"I see..would he be alright by himself?"
"Yeah, that creature is smart"
"Well anyway you see that woman with a tattoo on her face"
Ethan pointed and you look to see a woman on the table with 4 to 6 groups of people maybe her troops taking a drinks with some women on each of them.
"Yeah I can see her"
"She had the information we need and they might be planning they're next attack"
"So what's the plan Ethan?"
Heise said and turned to look at Ethan.
"We need to get closer and eavesdrop them so we'll know when we can be prepared, so y/n are you ready-"
Ethan stop once he can't see you anywhere and they look around only to find you already there talking with the woman.
"Y/N!!!"
