You two were in the kitchen, rose was leaning on the counter, her arms crossed while waiting for you to finish eating.
You were eating human food instead of hearts of a human which is surprising for rose.
"Food chain change?"
"No, just felt eating human food today, it's not like the bastard will appear any second"
"I see"
"Can't eat human hearts, I might need them Incase that bastard appeared out of nowhere again"
"So, this human heart thing, they give you more strength?"
"You could say that, but there's more to the food chain than just eating human hearts"
I said and then turned to face her as I put my empty plate on the sink and then leaned on the counter as I looked at her before crossing my arms again.
"You see, I can as well suck out their souls but souls give more than just strength, I can go berserk if I keep sucking out their souls because I prefer corrupted ones in short those people who sinned more"
"And as for going berserk, when I suck out a corrupted one souls I can have the urge to do what they always wanted to do, which means murder, massacre or anything that they always do to make them corrupted"
"It happens when black veins started to appeared all over my body, I can hear their desires to kill and tried to control me but all of them failed to do so"
"But how did you know this is the way to get you into being a crazy maniac?"
"Well back then when I still don't understand how this works, I had eaten a soul that's too corrupted for me to handle and when I suck his soul, the black veins appeared all over my body and my eyes go all black, my mind only thinks of one thing, which is killing"
"I had to be taken care of by those people called umbrella to stop me from going on a rampage around the city, luckily they succeeded but I was locked up in a white cell for a month to monitor me"
"That's..kinda harsh don't you Think?"
"I'm not surprised if they locked me up like a feral animal, I'm not normal after all so no hard feelings to those people Who's just aware of what I am"
"But your still human either way, you've just been experimented"
"I really don't care what others think but thanks anyway"
You said and looked at the window, you suddenly saw a white crow which is rare.
Rose notice it and then went to the window to looked at it because it seems that it was telling you two something because it keeps pecking the windows with it's beak.
Rose then opened the window and looked at the white crow.
"Woah, this is rare. I've never seen a white crow before"
Rose mumbled and admired the white crow as it went inside and suddenly flew towards you instinctively leaned your arms up and it landed on your arm.
"And it seems to like you"
"Me? I've never seen this white crow before around here"
"Maybe because you and that crow are similar"
"And why is that?"
"Well, your so called mother can turn into a crow, she experimented on you the same thing she had experimented herself"
"..."
You just gaze at the white crow while it was looking at you that seems like it's telling you something.
Just then someone spoke in your mind that caught you off guard.
"He's coming"
You furrowed your brows and looked at the crow again who was just staring at you.
"He's planning to attack again"
There it is, that strange voice in your head that you assume It was one of the corrupted souls trying to take control over your body but no.
This voice is warning you about something and then you had suspicion on the white crow.
"Who's coming?"
You suddenly asked which rose was confused.
"Huh?"
"I'm talking to the crow"
"What?"
You didn't say anything as you just listen to the voice inside your head while rose shook her head.
"Are you going crazy even though you already are but still-"
"Hush, the crow is warning me about something"
"But I don't hear it talking-"
Just then she heard a howl not far from the castle and decided to looked at the window but before she could take a look, a creature appeared on the window breaking inside.
You of course wasted no time to pulled rose away, wrapping your tail around her waist and pulled her away from the creature.
The white crow then started flying away and then you went to attack the creature using your claw and take it's heart out.
The creature fell and you just looked at it before you heard more creatures nearby.
"Shit, why didn't I notice this earlier"
You mumbled and then remembered the dimitrescu family as you Immediately rush towards out of the kitchen and went to find them.
"Ah- wait for me, damn it!"
Rose said and went to catch up with you while your priority was to the dimitrescu.
