Chapter 74

Chris pov

It has been a few days since the incident at the set and the assistant has been fired, blacklisted to never work on a movie set again. She had confessed to putting something in the drink to make Sammie sick not realizing that it could hurt the babies to. She had been arrested and had struck a deal to go through counseling and had a restraining order to never get near me or my family again. I just was thankful that Sammie had smelled something instead of just drinking it. The assistant never told what her endgame was but i didn't even wanted to know. I had told my team that from now on i only wanted to bring my own assistants and to have them incorporate that in future contracts. So, i could have someone there i trusted and didn't have to worry.

I had asked a buddy who had done it before, and he was happy to help out and everything was back to normal. I had said goodbye to my girls this morning leaving them with Seb and Mackie, who were still staying with us for a few more days. I felt kind of relieved having someone there so Sammie didn't have to do everything herself. She loved having them there. We had talked about hiring a nanny but after the whole incident, Sammie was hesitant which i understood. She never was big on the whole nanny thing, saying she rather not have a stranger in the house all the time. That the babysitter we had for date nights was more than enough.

But after the twins were born i had a few months before i had a busy schedule and even though they would come with me, having 4 kids would be allot and her publishers where growing impatient waiting for her next book. So, it was kind of needed but i didn't want to push her, as she was adamant about it. She had told me it was not up for discussion anymore and if publishers kept everything up, she would stop writing all together.

I was in the middle of a scene when my buddy ran in holding his phone. The director yelled cut and my buddy gave me the phone.

Seb: We are on our way to the hospital Mackie is staying with the girls, but Sammie is in labor.

Chris: Can you put her on the phone?

Seb: Yeah of course

Sammie: Hey...

Chris: Hey baby i am meeting you in the hospital okay. Are you okay?

Sammie: I am fine just in pain and about to push two babies out so please hurry.

Chris: I am leaving now baby see you in a bit. Love you.

Sammie: Love you to

I hung up the phone and told the director i had to go, he smiled telling me he had already arranged to have my car pulled up to the gate. I thanked him and ran off. I arrived at the hospital about half an hour later and ran to the front desk before i could even ask where Sammie was Seb came up to me smiling. "She is in here." He said patting my back. "Good luck buddy she had had a dead grip on my hand... I think i have to go to the ER to have it checked out." I chuckled hugged him and thanked him for getting Sammie here.

I walked into the room seeing my beautiful wife go through a contraction. I rushed to her side kissing the top of her head. "I am here baby." I said smiling a little. "Hey you." She said already looking exhausted. "Are you ready for this?" I whispered. "God no..." She said letting out a big sigh.

The delivery was long but 16 hours later we held our beautiful twin girls. I smiled as i looked at Sammie who was exhausted after pushing out 2 babies. There was a knock on the door and ma walked in with Sophie.

"Omg they are so precious..." Ma said smiling. "What are their names?" Ma asked smiling at the two girls. "This is Ivy Ariel Evans." Sammie says smiling. And this is "Hazel Aurora Evans." I say smiling. "Ariel?!" Sophie says looking up at us with big eyes. "Yes baby. Ariel is her middle name, but we call her Ivy. And her we call Hazel..." I say smiling.
