Chapter 39

Chris pov

Today was the day I started filming again. I am procrastinating... I am having a hard time saying goodbye to Sophie... She is still sleepy and does not understand that i have to go so she is a bit mopey... I was not the only one having a hard time saying goodbye... Sammie was fighting her tears seeing Sophie so sad... Yesterday we spent the whole day watching movies... Just the 3 of us cuddled up on the couch...  

I kiss Sammie... "I will see you tonight... I will text when i am on my way home..." I mumble and she nods hugging me one last time taking a deep breath... "We are pathetic... We are saying goodbye like we won't see each other again for years..." Sammie says letting out a big sigh and i chuckle... "Feels like it..." I mumble... "You need to go...Have a good day at work honey..." She says joking as if she is some sort of 50's housewife... I chuckle and kiss her again... After I had said goodbye to Sophie and Sammie I got in the car. For the first time in my career, I rather stayed home but I had made a commitment. 

I arrived at the set and got to my trailer. Just as i put my stuff down there was a knock on the door and Scarlet walked in stopping in front of me and putting her hands on her hips. "So..." She said putting her hands on her hips and i look at her raising an eyebrow... "So?" I ask and she gives me a dark look squinting her eyes at me... "When we're you going to tell me?"

"Tell you what?" I asked pretending to be confused knowing damn well what she means... "You have a kid! With Sammie!!!" She yelled. I smirked and nodded and pulled out my phone showing her pictures. "Omg she is adorable.... She looks like so much like you..." She squeals in a high-pitched voice.  I smiled at Scarlet. 

"Omg.... You're a daddy... With the one that got away." Scarlet said smirking. I smiled and nodded. I explained everything that happened. "I knew you two would end up together." She said smiling. "When can I meet the little princess?" She asked. "You could come to dinner after filming I know Sammie would love to see you again." Scarlet smiled. "It's a deal but can Colin and the kids come along to?" She asks batting her eyes at me and laugh..."Of course, I send Sammie a text to discuss it but I don't think it will be a problem." Scarlet looked at me surprised. "She is at your place?" I nodded smiling from ear to ear... "We are back together, and I don't wanna miss out more than I have to, so they moved in with me... And I love Sammie more than I ever loved someone. I was a fool for letting her go I am not gonna make that mistake again. I can't imagine my life without them anymore."

"I am so happy for you Chris. For the both of you... She always loved you so much... She was good for you... She is your calm in the storm..." Scarlet said hugging me and i smile hugging her back... "That she is..." I mumble and the urge to go home washes over me...  

"Have you met the others from the cast yet?" I shook my head. "No, I was supposed to do that after New York but well I had other things on my mind." I said grinning. "I understand" Scarlet said smiling. "Let go to make- up and wardrobe to get ready for the first day." While we walk to wardrobe, we catch up and although i miss my girls it is nice to see Scarlet again...

When it was lunchtime, I face timed Sammie and Sophie. Sophie was smiling and giving kisses into the camera making me smile. I told her about Scarlet wanting to see her and Sammie told me it was okay if she brought Colin and the kids. Scarlet came walking in while I was talking to Sammie, and she ripped the phone out of my hand smirking.

"Hai" she said smiling at Sammie, "Hai" I heard Sammie say back in a chirpy tone... They talked for a bit before giving the phone back to me. "I have to go" I said smiling. "See you tonight, I love you."
