Chris pov...

A few days have past, and Sammie and i had a lot of talks with the studio. But we had done it... We had put together a plan explained it to them, and they agreed... Sammie had been amazing in negotiating... They agreed to all her demands, making it so that we would be working together. I was excited and Sammie and i would be writing the script together. Sammie had already started and i would proofread and we would go over it together for some potential revisions... But first she wanted to finish her next book... She wanted to be able to fully concentrate on the script so not to get confused.

I was on my way with Sophie to ma, i smiled as she was singing along to a Disney song. Sammie was having trouble working at the moment as Sophie was interrupting her constantly. I dont know why but she was super clingy to Sammie at the moment. So, i said i would visit ma taking Sophie with me so she could work for a few hours uninterrupted.

We arrived at ma's and Sophie ran in straight to the kitchen where ma was. "Hello sweetheart" ma said as Sophie gave her a big hug. "Hey ma" I said as I walked over giving her a hug to. "This is a nice surprise." She said smiling. "Yeah, this one over here kept bothering mommy while she tried to work, so I thought we come bother you instead. This way Sammie could actually get some work done." Ma laughed and picked Sophie up putting her in her lap.

"So, you've been bugging mommy?" She said tickling Sophie who giggles and squeals... "Let's play a board game" Ma said and Sophie jumped of her lap running to get a game. I smiled. "Is everything okay at home?" She asked me. I smiled and nodded, "Sophie is a little clingy to Sammie since we got home and since Sammie wanted to finish her next book before we started writing for the movie, I thought to let her work in peace for a few hours." Ma nodded. "How is wedding planning going." She asks.

"It's going great the wedding planner has everything under control and I am having a tux fitting tomorrow and I wondered if you could come along so I will match with the dress. And talking about the dress Sammie said I could have a look." Ma started laughing. "No, she didn't say that." I smirked and shrugged my shoulders. "Can't blame a guy for trying..." Ma started to laugh even harder. "Did everyone rsvp yet?" I nodded and smiled. "Most people yes, so far everyone is coming."

"That's nice." She says smiling. Sophie comes running in from picking a board game and we help her set it up and start the game.

Sammie pov...

Chris took Sophie to Lisa so I could work. For some reason Sophie couldn't leave me alone for 2 minutes to work, even though Chris was home to entertain her. The wedding was only 2 weeks away and I wanted to finish the book by then. That way i could fully concentrate on the script based on my first book together after the wedding. In my excitement i had already started but i was getting confused between things and i decided to focus on one thing at a time. But as i am sitting behind my laptop I had trouble concentrating it was too quiet and I sighed. Something felt off. I couldn't focus with them here, but even with them gone it didn't go as good as I hoped.

I was feeling off, but it is probably the wedding jitters. I forced myself to write the last few chapters giving myself a week to make any changes if something popped up in my head. I was feeling so tired that when I closed the laptop I walked to the bedroom and crawled into bed to take a nap. The bed felt too big alone but after grabbing a shirt from Chris and putting it on his smell surrounded me and I dozed off.

We said goodbye to ma, and I told her I would pick her up tomorrow for the tux fitting. I put Sophie in the car and drove home. As we walked into the house everything was quiet and dark. I put Sophie in front of her favorite movie and walked to Sammie's office. She wasn't there. I checked the bedroom to find her sleeping in my shirt. She looked so peaceful, so I gave her a little kiss on her forehead deciding to let her sleep until dinner was ready.
