Chapter 59

Chris pov...

When Sammie told me she was pregnant i was over the moon. but when i looked her in the eyes and she started sobbing while apologizing my heart sank... She was so scared to tell me. She even said she understood if i didn't want to get married. I did this, i made her feel that she had to be scared to tell me and it broke my heart. I reassured her it was a good thing letting her know how happy i was that we were having another baby. 

She showed me 3 tests and i chuckled at the fact she had 3 tests done. I had her make an appointment with her doctor so we could find out how long she was pregnant, and we were in luck she could be there in an hour. We told my family that there was an emergency with the wedding because i could see Sammie was not ready to tell yet, besides we didn't know how far along she was.

When i saw the ultrasound at the doctor's office i couldn't help but tear up a bit. She was really pregnant... 9 weeks. And this time i was here for it. I was gonna make sure she had the pregnancy she deserved. She told me she wanted to keep it to ourselfs until after the 12-week mark, but she agreed to tell ma knowing i couldn't keep a secret from her.

We drove home and when we walked in everyone was still there. "Hey everyone. Crisis prevented." I lied and smiled. Everyone smiled at us and i could see Sammie was tired. "Go take a nap baby." I whispered kissing her temple, but she shook her head. "I dont want to." She whispered back. So, we sat down with the rest of the family watching home movies. Sammie cuddled into me, and it didn't take long for her to be asleep in my arms. "Is she okay?" Shanna asked and i smiled. "Yeah, the stress of the wedding is tiring her out...." I lied. "Yeah, i remember that." Carly said smiling. "Weddings are stressful even with a planner."

"We can all go home..." Ma said and everyone stood up to leave. "Ma can you stay for a bit?" I asked. "I need to discuss something with you."

"Sure, sweetie, I'll let everyone out no need to get up and wake Sammie." She said smiling. "Where is Sophie?" I ask. "She is playing in the playroom. You want me to go get her?" Ma asks.

I looked at Carly. "Can you take her for tonight?" I asked her and she smiled nodding. "Yeah of course no problem." Carly said smiling. She loves Sophie and Sophie loved playing with her kids...

"I'll get her packed" Ma said and they all went off while i just sat there looking at Sammie, who was sound asleep. As i let my fingers run through her hair she woke up. "I am sorry." She said sitting up. "Dont be baby." I said smiling kissing her forehead. "Everybody went home?" Sammie asks looking around in a daze. "Yeah, almost.... Carly and ma are packing a bag for Sophie. She is going to have a sleepover at Carly, so we can have one relaxing day before the wedding."

"Oh, okay" she said looking at her fingers. "You want to have Sophie here?" I ask, because she kind of looks sad that she is going to stay at Carly.

"No, she should have some fun." Sammie says giving me a little smile. I put my arm around her and give her a kiss when Carly, ma and Sophie come into the living room. "Mama! I am going to have a sleepover at Aunt Carly." She says smiling while she hugs Sammie. Sammie smiles. "I know baby." She says. "Be good and listen to what aunt Carly says okay?"

"Yes, mommy i promise." Sammie gives Sophie a hug and i can see that she really doesn't want to let her go but reluctantly does. "I love you baby." She whispers to Sophie. "I love you to mommy." Sophie says a big smile on her face. Sammie insists on carrying her to the car.

We walk Carly and Sophie to the car. Sammie giving Sophie kisses all over while she carries her making Sophie squeal and giggle. "Have fun baby." She says again before Carly drives off. We walk back inside where ma is sitting on the couch. "So, what did you guys want to talk about?"
