Chapter 41

Sammie pov...

It was a week later... I was all better and driving to the store with Sophie in the back to do some groceries. Chris had gone back to work, i missed him when he was working but it made him coming home at night even more enjoyable. As i was driving i noticed a car behind me, i couldn't make out the driver but something was off. I dont know why... But i had this little shiver running down my spine... I try to remember when the car appeared behind me but i can't remember... We got to the store and the car parked a few spots from us so i didn't think anything of it, probably someone who was going shopping to.

I got out of the car put Sophie in the shopping cart and went into the store. But where i normally dont mind shopping i was now uneasy walking through the aisles... I felt like someone was watching us... But every time i look around there is no one there accept from other shoppers. It is a busy day and lots of people are out shopping... I just shrugged it off thinking it was because Chris and i where out in the open with our relationship. Even when things had calmed down sometimes people would still notice and recognize me...

I just continued talking to Sophie who all of a sudden let out a happy scream... "Daddy!" She squealed and i chuckled seeing where she was pointing at... A captain America doll... "Mommy... Pleaaaaaase..." She says batting her eyes at me and i chuckle knowing she wanted the toy that looked like her dad and i smiled. "Sure baby..."  I said giving her the toy. Chris was going to get a kick out of this, so i could not say no...

After we were done shopping, we walked back to the car. Sophie is playing with her doll, happy babbling, hugging it and waving it around. I could see the car was still parked in the spot a few spots away. I put Sophie in the car and loaded my shopping in the back. I locked the car and put the cart back in its place. I got into the car and drove off as i just wanted to go home.... When i looked in my mirrors there it was the car again. This uneasy feeling washing over me... Was there someone in it when i checked... I swear there was nobody in the driver's seat when i got in my car, nor did i see anyone around the car... I could feel the adrenaline starting to run through my body... My gut feeling was screaming at me that something was off... What are the odds that the owner of the car would leave at the exact time i did... I feel myself start to panic... But then i hear Sophie babbling in her car seat and i take a deep breath... I had to stay calm, i had Sophie in the car. I started to drive around checking if the car was really following.

Every turn i made the car followed... This uneasy feeling getting stronger by the second. I knew it wasn't the paparazzi, they would have talked to me outside of the car. All of a sudden it sinks in... Could this be Kim or would this be one of her minions... Omg, omg, omg... What if it was... Why now after months would she... 

What do i do... What do i do... For a moment i contemplate just going home but i didn't want to be alone in the house. Not now i know i had been followed so i did the only thing i could think of and drove to the set on which Chris was filming. Chris had arranged i could always visit him on set but i had never actually done it not wanting to be a distraction but now i didn't know what else to do. I am struggling to keep it together... Not wanting Sophie to get scared... But i am shaking and i keep looking in my rear-view mirror... The car is still there... It is keeping its distance... I try to see who the driver is but i can't see... Sophie is thank God oblivious, playing with her doll and singing along to the music... 

I let out a sigh of relief when i drove up to the security showed him my ID and drove onto the set. At least i am safe now... The car that followed stayed outside the premises. I parked and got Sophie out of the car, i looked around not knowing where to go, feeling panic set in. Sophie must have picked up on it as she started to cry, making it hard for me to not break down crying...I tried to calm her down, hugging her bouncing her on my arm... All of a sudden i heard a voice behind me and i almost jumped out of my skin. "Sammie?" I turned around and saw Scarlet walking up to me. "What a nice surprise!" She said smiling and i forced a little smile back. "Chris didn't tell me you were stopping by today."
