"Trav, please tell me where we're going", Taylor pleaded while she packed her things in her suitcase. "I've already told you that you. I've got it taken care of. Just relax", Travis assured, pulling her to his chest and pressing a delicate kiss to her forehead. "Mhmm", Taylor complained into his chest. "Trust me, you'll like it. And we can cuddle on the flight there", Travis suggested, pulling away to lift the heavy suitcases.
"How much longer?" Taylor asked, perching her head on Travis's shoulder. "I don't know, but we'll get there soon", Travis assured. Taylor nodded, enjoying the feeling of being secure in Travis's arms. "I love you" she mumbled, causing Travis to smile at her. "Love you too, baby", he said softly, stroking her blonde locks softly.
They landed in the mysterious spot Travis had surprised Taylor with. It was surrounded by trees and It was about a mile away from the 'destination' wherever that was. Travis insisted on carrying the bags, Taylor blushing at his kind gesture.
When they arrived at the cabin, Taylor wrapped her arms around Travis's neck, kissing him. "Travis, you shouldn't have", she said, smiling. "Anything for you", he smiled, carrying their luggage inside the cabin. "Wow, this is a nice cabin", Taylor commented, setting her backpack down. "Glad you like it", Travis said. "Anything for my girl", Travis said, taking Taylor into his strong embrace, swaying slowly. "I love you", Taylor said, kissing his lips. "Love you too. Now go get changed so we can go see that pretty waterfall that's here", Travis said. "Ooh, there's a waterfall?", Taylor asked excitedly. "Only the best for you", Travis said, sporting a playful smile.
"Oh Trav", Taylor stated, in awe of earth's beauty. The waterfall flowed peacefully in the background, making a relaxing environment for the couple. "What's in that basket?", Taylor asked, pulling Travis back into the present as he spaced out. Travis quickly panicked thinking she was talking about the box in his pocket. A wave of relief flew over him as he realized she was talking about the basket he was holding. "Oh, I made a picnic". "Trav, you are the best", Taylor stated, pecking his lips. "Thanks", Travis said, nerves flushing over him.
What if she said no? He would ruin both the outdoors and their relationship for Taylor. He loved her too much to do that. But he also wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, and that emotion out ruled all of his doubt and nerves.
"Trav, are you ok?", Taylor asked, spreading the blanket out on the ground. "Oh, I'm fine", Travis assured. "Are you sure? You've been kinda quiet", Taylor observed, pulling plates out of the basket and handing one to Travis. "Oh, I'm fine. Probably just from tired from the plane". "Ok", Taylor said, not believing him completely. "Travis we can head back if you are too tired", Taylor offered, rubbing his back for a second. "No, no. I'm fine, don't worry", Travis said, a bit to quickly. Taylor's suspicions were on fire but she decided to just nod and take a bite of her sandwich.
"Taylor, look at the waterfall", Travis said, Taylor looking away so he pulled out the ring. "It's pretty..."Taylor said, in shock at what awaited her when she looked back. "Oh my...", she said, tears in her eyes. "Taylor, I've loved you since the moment I laid eyes on you. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and become my wife?", Travis asked, on his knee. "Yes!", Taylor managed, happy tears springing in her eyes. She ran into his arms, Travis standing up to embrace Taylor, spinning her around. Taylor kissed him softly, then passionately. "I love you so much", Taylor said, Travis wiping her tears away with his thumbs.
They lay there, Travis propped up against a tree while Taylor leaned her back against him. "You are so beautiful", Travis complimented, kissing her head. Taylor nuzzled further into him. "Thanks", Taylor said, smiling as she looked at her left hand as she kept it on display. "Travis, this ring is beautiful". "Thanks. Like I always say, only the best for you". "You are too sweet", Taylor said, kissing his cheek.
They lay there until the sun started to set, so they packed up and began their walk back to the cabin.
Once they arrived, Taylor hopped in the shower. She carefully placed her ring on a towel on the counter, careful that the colors would contrast so she wouldn't loose it. She was rinsing her hair out when the door slided open, scaring her. "Geez Travis", Taylor jumped. "I thought maybe we should save some of the water", Travis said, Taylor nodding in agreement. She smiled, pressing her lips to his. He picked her up, her straddling him.
They spent the night cuddling in each other's arms as they dreamed of a future.
So sorry for the lack of smut I'm just not very good at writing it. Hope you enjoyed and Merry Christmas!
