Trigger warning: mentions abortion
Travis woke up to loud talking by his roommates outside the door.
He looked down, making sure Taylor was still asleep. He smiled, softly kissing her forehead.
"I love you", he whispered.
Taylor shifted in her sleep, nuzzling further into his chest. Travis smiled, rubbing her back softly.
Travis unplugged his phone from the bedside table and Google OBGYNs in the area. It came up with several results, so Travis signed Taylor up for an appointment.
Taylor woke up, groaning.
"Was that real?", was the first thing Taylor said.
Travis sighed. "Unfortunately, yes", he answered, combing his hair through her hair.
She groaned.
"I love you", he said, smiling into her eyes.
"I love you too", she replied, kissing his lips softly.
Taylor sat up, stretching.
"Oh, by the way, I signed you up for a doctors appointment with an OB", said Travis, sitting up and pulling a shirt on.
"Trav, really?", she asked dreadfully.
"Yes baby. It's at 2 PM so we should get ready. Besides, we don't a hundred percent know you're pregnant, so might as well check with an actual doctor", he reasoned, tossing her the leggings she wore the previous day.
"Ok",she mumbled sleepily.
Taylor glanced at her phone.
There were 50 in total messages from Abigail and Selena, both worried for her.
Taylor sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed.
Selena: Where are you? Are you ok?
Abigail: This joke isn't funny Tay. We're worried about you!!
Taylor: Guys, I'm fine. I'm just hanging with Travis today but I'll let you know when I know for sure about something before I tell you (:
Travis dropped Taylor at her apartment to get some new clothes and freshen up while he waited out front.
Soon Taylor appeared in a Cleveland University sweatshirt and navy blue leggings.
"There you are beautiful", he said, pecking her lips as she got in the car.
They arrived at the doctors office, Taylor's hand never leaving Travis's.
A nurse soon invited her back, leading her to a room. She instructed Taylor to sit on the bench while they waited for the doctor to finish with a patient.
Now that Taylor and Travis were alone, Taylor could finally express how she felt.
"Travis, I'm scared", she whispered, afraid saying it out loud would only make her fear more real.
"I know baby. If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty damn scared too", said Travis, kissing her shaking hand.
Surprisingly, Travis admitting he felt the same as Taylor made her feel less scared, but she was still terrified.
Soon, a doctor returned, running a few tests.
"Ok, so you are for sure pregnant. And by the looks of it, you are about 10 weeks already, which is about 2 and a half weeks. I'm not sure if this is happy or sad news, so let me just say to you that there is an abortion clinic just around the corner. And if you choose to keep this baby, there is a crisis pregnancy center adjacent to it which will provide you with baby supplies as I was made aware you are a college student", the doctor said.
