The ride back to Canterlot High from Camp Everfree felt longer than the ride there.

Whether it be because of slow withering away of shock from the magic attack, or the disappointment of leaving a breath of fresh air to return to their new lives, most students were drifting off the high they experienced at Everfree. The mane 7 had resumed their spots in the same places on the bus they sat in when first arriving, only this time, the relationship between a certain pair was very different.

"Okay...I once rolled onto Tank while sleeping, I can do 100+ consecutive situps, and...I can't do a pull up," Rainbow listed, counting out the three statements on her fingers. She watched Applejack's reaction to each comment that left her mouth, trying to deduce what the girl would assume was the lie. Due to her competitiveness in games, even meaningless ones like two truths and one lie, she tried to make it hard for her contender, even if that meant she had to sacrifice some self respect.

AJ furrowed her brows in humoured thought, "Of course you of all people would find a way to turn this game into a brag," she mentioned before guessing the lie, "I bet this is your elaborate plan to make me watch you do a pull up. The things you do to impress me. Surely you can do a pull up, so I'll guess that's the lie."

Rainbow rubbed her hands together in success, "Well, actually AJ, I'm offended you think I'm that careless of a pet owner," she confessed, slowly revealing the actual lie. "You remember Tank sleeps on the floor in his bed don't you?"

The girls loss was not met with a saddened expression but more of a cocky smirk as the instant teasing begun, Rainbow should've seen this coming. "You can't do a pull up?" AJ scoffed at her, her mouth falling open in joking surprise. "I don't even do sports and I can do one."

"Oh yeah? Prove it. Pull ups are hard AJ," Dash interrogated her, slightly embarrassed at revealing her weakness in strength building.

"What? On the bus? Yeah that's not happening..." Applejack distinctly informed the girl, crossing her arms over her chest and trying to throw this conversation off its course. "It's my turn now isn't it?"

"Not on the bus you idiot. When we get back home," Rainbow specific as she rolled her eyes, sassiness emerging as she felt her ego being crushed despite the fact she did this to herself through lack of foresight.

"Fine," AJ agreed stubbornly, huffing a breath of air out before proceeding with the game. "Anyway, it's my turn, I've got a hard one."

"Do your worst cowgirl," Dash taunted playfully.

"Alright...first, I make the best apple pies, second, I think you're hot, and third, I want you to stay over at my house tonight," Applejack expressed in a low voice, her words somewhat softer in an effort to make sure no one overheard the flirts.

Rainbow looked at her with a knowing grin, "Well damn, I hope you make shit apple pies then."

"My apple pies are the best," AJ confirmed, stealing the grin from the others face which had slowly settled into one of confusion.
