"We're sinking!" Fluttershy shouted to her friends with a panic ridden expression.

"Get to the life boats!" Pinkie yelled in response so not only could her two friends hear her cry, but the other passengers onboard too as many had began to file out and witness what on earth was going on above deck.

Yet as if the swirling thunder clouds had ears of their own, a highly specific bolt of white light shot down dangerously close to their standing positions and hit the sides of the ship symmetrically against each shaft. With the electric shake, the life boats that were going to be their escape detached from the ropes holding them and met their unfortunate descent to the water below that easily submerged the weak plastics with the triumphing tides.

"There go the life boats...that was a very specific lightning strike..." Pinkie then said as she looked over the edge to the blue of the sea where the orange floats once were, herself and the two friends with her suddenly cowering over another loud echo of thunder that cracked in the sky.

In time with the alerting thunder that met a different groups ears, AJ, Dash, Twi and Sunset came running out of the forest they had just returned from, the four gathering on the islands shore as they watched in dismay at the calculated strikes the Storm King's magic descended upon the cruise.

With the pony Twilight allowing them to bring back the magic staff to the human realm that would aid them in trapping this enchantment and never letting the slivers of power harm their world again, they joined hands to raise the wood to the sky. With the combination of their own equestrian magic abilities and the wand with it's own strengths in nulling the lightning, the danger could be pulled away.

time skip (u guys know what happens, storm gets put back into wand yay celebrate, but then oh shii the boat is sinking, oh no, so they all use their individual powers blah blah blah to save everyone yay and then rarity makes a new lifeboat to get everyone off before heading over to the island again after their ship sinks fully)

"The captain was able to send out a help signal to nearby ships and was just able to pick up the response of another cruise in the area who is willing to pick us up from here on it's way back to the mainland," one of the staff of the ship was informing the group of girls after delegating majority of responsibility to them after noticing how fast they reacted to prevent anyone from drowning. Choosing to ignore the raised curiosity of how this group seemed to have magical powers, the man determined it was definitely not the weirdest magical phenomenon they'd witnessed after a few other odd occurrences within the past few years such as a portal opening in her house that when he peered through, saw a horse with the exact same hair as him.

"Thanks, how long do you think they'll be?" Rainbow asked as she rolled up her sleeves to prepare for any extra physical work she'd have to help the ones she was stranded with.

"A few hours at most, tell everyone to relax, the cruise is on their way to pick us up," he finalised before turning with a hospitality smile and walking back to his co-workers, all of them dressed in that same vacation staff white.

Making her way back to her friends, Rainbow asked them to help spread the word amongst other groups and individuals that they will be okay as some were starting to feel a bit unsettled, especially now that the sun had begun to lower in the sky.

As the horizon told the story of their afternoon, shifting from the tragic dark grey to an almost immediate clear blue, the disappearance of their natural light source lit up the sky in hues of orange and a salmon pink which seemed all too perfect to ignore and not enjoy. As word spread that everything was to be alright, many had started to create their own forms of entertainment with things they happened to carry with them off of the ship, a few desperate stragglers forcing their luggage on the boats too. With one person digging a speaker out of their baggage, they offered to the greater collective to play some music that everyone could hear to calm their nerves and place them in a better state of mind. With many grunts and nods of approval, the girl connected her phone to the device and asked people if they had any song recommendations, leaving her mobile on the black rectangular song emitter for others to queue their own requests.
