Mathew's POV:

After a few minutes, I entered the college only to find lots of women standing and chatting with each other.

“Indha gumbal la epdi namma azha theduradhu?”
(How am I going to find my girl in this crowd?)

Author: “Edhu namma azha?”
(Which girl is your girl?)

Mathew: “Pinna ennoda wife en aalu illaya?”
(Then what? My wife isn’t my girl?)

While I was busy searching for her, I heard someone call me.

"Hello, Mathew."

I turned around and saw a girl smiling at me.

Oh god. Indha ponnuga tholla thanga mudiyala, oru azhagana paiyana paatha podhum, odane convo develop panna start panniduvanga.
(These girls are just too much. Just a glance at a handsome guy and they start a conversation right away.)

Author: “Ohh... Inga yaaru azhagana paiyan?”
(Ohh... Who’s the handsome guy here?)

Mathew: “Vera yaaru, naan dhaan.”
(Who else? Me, obviously.)

Author: “Nee ellam manusanae illa theriyuma?”
(You're not even human, you know that?)

"Yeah," I replied.

"How are you? Nalla irukingala?"
(How are you? Doing well?)

"Wait, do I even know you?"

"You don't know me, but I know who you are."

"How?"

"En Stella darling odaye husband ache."
(You’re Stella darling’s husband.)

"Stella darling huh?"

"Haiyo, amanga. Ava ennoda best friend. I'm Jeni. Idho ipo Inga dha irundha en kooda, matha friends-a pathu varanum nu solli ponanga. Just then I saw you and came here."
(Oh yes, she’s my best friend. I'm Jeni. She was just with me here, then left to see other friends. That’s when I saw you and came.)

"Ohh," I said.

Author: “Ada paavi, ivala poi un azhagula mayangi unkita pesuranu sonniye da?”
(You sinner, did you just say she got charmed by your looks?)

"Ama, Ava sonna neenga busy nu irukeenganu. Epdi vandheenga ipo?"
(She said you’re busy these days. How come you’re here?)

"Ama, but Stella-va surprise panna vandhen. Enga Ava?"
(Yeah, but I came to surprise Stella. Where is she?)

"Oh seri seri, Ava anga iruka paarunga, matha friends oda pesitu."
(Okay, okay. She’s over there, talking to the others.)

My eyes searched for her and I found her. She was a completely different person, smiling and giggling with her friends.

En kooda irukum bodhu matum dhaan sirikave matengira?
(She never even smiles when she’s with me.)
Ipdi irundha evlo azhaga iruka... maybe she's not comfortable with me.
(She looks so beautiful like this… maybe she’s just not comfortable around me.)
