Weeks passed and I have been falling for him. I tried my best to stop myself from liking him. But, I failed. I don't know who he is or I haven't even met him in person, how come I can fall for him? I'm not sure whether it is love or infatuation.

But, if it meant nothing, why would I pray to God everyday to make him, mine?

Avan azhaga parthu love panra nee, apo adhuku peru love illa lust dhan. Perusa pesuva personality huh parthu varadhu dha love nu ipo ennachu andha dialogues ellam? Hypocrite, stella nee.
(You are admiring his beauty and falling for me, what do we call that? Isn't it lust? You always talk about prioritising a guy's personality over looks. What happened to all those dialoguees? You are a hypocrite, Stella.)

My inner self questioned me.

I was disgusted by myself. Am I that cheap to fall for someone just by getting mesmerizing by his looks? No, I'll try to forget him. More than his face, I started liking his love poems and stories which he has posted on his Instagram.

Paravala, unnaku pudichadhu dhan epome unnaku kedaikadhula. Mathew um apdi dhan.
(It's ok. Anyway, you always don't get what you desire for. Mathew is also in this list.)

It's been weeks since I was playing this Mathew's prank on Jeni. I thought of revealing the truth to her.

Since, my semester got over, we were on semester holidays.

I dialled her number. She picked up the call.

"Jeni, un kita oru mukiyamana vishayam sollanum."
(Jeni, I want to tell you something, very important.)

"Enna dhideernu? Sollu, d."
(What suddenly? Tell me dude.)

"Epdi solradhunu therila."
(I don't know how to say.)

"Ohh, enna thayangura? Pregnant huh irukiya enna?", she started laughing.
(Ohh, why are you hesitating? Are you pregnant?)

"Epdi d correct huh sonna?", I teased her back.
(How did you guessed it, right?)

"Idiot", she said and started laughing.

"Hey, gavani d. Naan John pathi un kita sonnenla", I was hesitant.
(Hey, listen. I told about John, right?)

"Ama"
(Yeah)

"Adhu vandhu"
(That's)

"Enna adhuku?", she asked.
(What for it, now?)

"Adhu unmai kedaiyadhu d, poi sonnen."
(That's not true. I lied to you.)

She paused for a while.

"Hey, podhum d chumma prank prank nu savadikadha. Ipo poi nu sollitu aprm prank pannen John matter unmai dhanu solluva, nee."
(Hey enough. Don't kill me with your pranks. You'll tell this is a lie, now. Later, you'll say John's matter is true and I played a prank on you by saying it's a lie.)

"Illa d, sathiyama John yarune theriyadhu d. Yaaro d Avan. Insta lendhu Ava photo eduthu unnaku kaati alliance vandhu irukunu poi sonnen."
(No, I swear, I don't know who John is. I took his photo from Instagram and showed you saying that he had approached me for the wedding.)

"Naan namba maten. Yen d pacha poi pesura?"
(I won't believe. Why are you lying?)

 Why are you lying?)
