~~Jaiveer~~
In the blink of an eye, days turned into weeks and our lives turned into normal. I got myself busy with the upcoming mobile launch and Advi got herself busy with her new themed clothes launch. Getting ready together in the morning and going to bed together at night have become our small heaven. Closing my eyes with her in my arms and opening them with her in my arms started making me the happiest man. With all these businesses the time we are spending with Adiraj has got reduced.
Hence on this particular day, I completed all my work early and set out to pick up Advi and spend some quality time with our baby boy. Otherwise I bet our little man will definitely kick us one day.
The clock already hits 7 in the night but it's still early for us. By the time I set my foot in Advi’s store, it was practically deserted except for her guard and herself. Her guard is actually stirring on the couch that was arranged at the front desk while staring at the papers that were scattered on the small wooden table in front of him. I leaned over to take a peek at them. They are actually sketches of Advi. What is doing with those?
“What are you doing?” I asked Baladev, her guard.
At my voice he immediately stood up and bowed a little, “Mrs. Dixit asked me to point out the mistakes in them. As if I could understand a thing.” He muttered the last words.
I chuckled, “Forget about these. Relieve of your work for today. I will take care of the rest.”
Nodding, he immediately fled away.
Walking towards Advi's cabin, I leaned against the door frame watching her designing a dress with her mannequin. Being mindful of my steps, I walked towards her and wrapped my hands around her waist from her back.
A shriek escaped from her mouth and I laughed.
“You scared me, Jai.” She complained, swatting my hands away.
I chuckled, “You should be careful then.”
She just pouted, “What are you doing here?”
“Finished my work early so thought of picking up my wife. Can't I?” I asked, wrapping my hands around her.
“You could have given me a heads up. I could have packed everything by then.”
“It's alright. Wrap up everything now.”
She nodded, “Give me 5 minutes.”
Leaving her to her things, I walked back towards the front desk. Flopping down on the couch, I leered into the sketches that Advika previously gave to her guard. Just like him, I too can't understand the mistakes in them.
“Arey!? Where did he go? I told him to point out the mistakes.” 5 minutes later I heard Advi's voice beside me.
Scowling, I looked up at her, “Give that poor man a break. What mistakes can he dare to even find out in your works?”
“What do you mean by that?” Saying that she flopped down beside me. Picking up a sketch, she examined it, “See, I used these two colours. They won't blend together.”
I huffed, “How are we supposed to know that?”
Ignoring me, she kept on examining her sketches one after the other and started noting down her mistakes and adjustments that needed to be made while I silently sat there listening to her blabbering.
“Okay. I'll send these final copies to the supplier tomorrow. Let's go now.”
When she said that I looked at the watch. It struck at 9 p.m.
