~~Jaiveer~~
As soon as I stepped inside my house, Maa, Papa and Ananya surrounded me. And my pooh, he actually climbed onto me. Encircled his hands around my neck and buried his face into my neck.
I chuckled, "I too missed you my baby." I said, ruffling his baby hair. He then raised his head and grinned wide at me.
"Give me a kissy." I asked, pointing towards my cheek. His little lips touched my cheeks and my heart swelled up in happiness. Kissing his cheeks in return, I flopped down on the coach with him in my hands.
One after the other, Papa kept on asking questions about our deal, Maa kept on asking questions about whether I ate properly or not. Anu posed questions about the city, its weather, and its shopping malls. And my pooh, he is just playing with my shirt buttons.
I kept on patiently answering their questions while my eyes kept on searching for one particular person that's not here. Where is she? Why isn't she here? Doesn't she know that I'll come today? Or isn't she waiting for me?
"She is waiting for you in your room." Anu whispered in my ear. My lips tugged up a little.
"Maa, Papa… let him freshen up and rest for a while." Anu said and Maa and Papa agreed immediately.
"Pumpkin, let's go and play." She stretched her hands towards Adiraj. Understanding the situation, he immediately shook his head and buried deep into me. Holding him tight, I smiled.
"Pooh.. I'll just go and take a bath. Then we can play. Ok?" I tried to coax him. But he kept on whining for a while. Finally Anu managed to pull him towards her by luring him with food. Chuckling, I shook my head. Adiraj is truly a carbon copy of Robin.
Feeling content with my baby, I walked up towards my room. The door is wide open and I noticed her, sitting at the edge of the bed, fiddling with her fingers.
Leaning against the door frame, I kept on staring at her. She is clad in her casual night wear. Her waist length hair was tied up in a bun. Few tendrils escaped out and are caressing her cheeks. She truly is a sight to behold. Though we video chatted daily in the last week, seeing her for real filled in an unknown sense of relief within me. There truly is someone waiting for me at home.
"Advika." I called softly and she jumped a bit in her place.
Looking up at me she stood. Her eyes traveled from my head to toe. What is she even assessing?
I want to speak something, tell something and I don't know what to and how to.
Her mouth opened a little and closed again. It's clear that she too is trying to speak something and what it is? No idea.
"How.." she cleared her throat, "How are you?" She finally asked.
"Fine."
She nodded, "How was your deal?"
"Good."
She again nodded.
We stood there in silence for a few more seconds, staring at each other, not knowing what to speak. Finally I broke our silence, "I'll get freshen up."
Nodding hurriedly she exited the room.

After a good night’s rest, I felt a bit refreshed for the next morning. Stretching my arms wide, I lazily climbed down the stairs. Once I stepped on the last step, I heard noises coming from the dining room. I slowly walked towards the room to notice Maa and Advika doing something in the kitchen. Papa is reading the newspaper, seated at the dining table. Anu is feeding breakfast to Adiraj that is something prepared with vegetables while stealing a piece in the middle. Chuckling at their cute antics, I dropped down on an empty chair.
