As the first light of dawn crept through the curtains, you found yourself unable to sleep. The events of the previous evening weighed heavily on your mind, and despite your best efforts to push them aside, they continued to gnaw at your thoughts.

Unable to bear lying in bed any longer, you quietly slipped out of the room, careful not to wake Heeseung. You tiptoed down the hallway and into the kitchen, seeking solace in the familiar surroundings.

You heated some water and poured it into a mug, wrapping your hands around it for warmth. Sitting cross-legged on the couch, you buried your face in your hands, tears slipping silently down your cheeks.

Unbeknownst to you, Heeseung had also been unable to sleep. Concerned about your sudden departure from the bed, he had followed you to the kitchen, his heart heavy with worry.

He found you sitting on the couch, your shoulders shaking with silent sobs. His heart clenched at the sight, and without hesitation, he approached you, his footsteps barely making a sound on the tiled floor.

"Y/N," he said softly, kneeling down in front of you. "What's wrong?"

Startled, you quickly wiped away your tears, but Heeseung could see the traces of sadness lingering in your eyes. You tried to compose yourself, but the floodgates had already been opened, and the words spilled out before you could stop them.

"I heard your parents talking last night," you confessed, your voice barely above a whisper. "They... they don't think I'm good enough for you."

Heeseung's expression softened with understanding, and he reached out to gently brush the tears from your cheeks. "Y/N, listen to me," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "You are more than good enough for me. You are everything I could ever want."

You shook your head, unable to meet his gaze. "But they're your parents," you said, your voice trembling with emotion. "They want what's best for you, and I'm not sure that's me."

Heeseung reached out and took your hands in his, his touch warm and reassuring. "Y/N, my parents may not understand our relationship right now, but that doesn't change how I feel about you," he said, his voice unwavering. "You are the person I love, and nothing will ever change that."

You looked up at him, your eyes searching his face for any sign of doubt. But all you found was unwavering love and devotion, and in that moment, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you and Heeseung would face them together.

Feeling the weight of your emotions lifting, Heeseung gently lifted you from the couch and cradled you in his arms, carrying you back towards the bedroom. With each step, his presence enveloped you in a sense of security and warmth, easing the turmoil in your heart.

As he laid you down on the bed, Heeseung tenderly brushed a stray strand of hair from your face, his touch sending shivers down your spine. With a soft smile, he reached up and carefully removed the elastic from your hair, his fingers tracing gentle patterns along your scalp as he re-tied it in a loose bun.

Leaning in close, Heeseung captured your lips in a passionate kiss, his love pouring forth in every tender gesture. In that moment, the world fell away, leaving only the two of you lost in each other's embrace.

Breaking the kiss, Heeseung gazed into your eyes, his own filled with unwavering determination. "Y/N," he said softly, his voice laced with conviction, "I don't care what my parents say. I love you, and I will never stop loving you."

His words washed over you like a soothing balm, calming the storm of doubts and fears that had plagued your mind. In Heeseung's arms, you found solace and strength, knowing that together, you could weather any storm that came your way.

With a grateful smile, you reached out and intertwined your fingers with his, your hearts beating as one. In that moment, as the morning sun bathed the room in a soft golden light, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you and Heeseung would face them together, bound by a love that was stronger than any obstacle.
