You lay on the bed, reading a Christmas romance novel, savoring the cozy atmosphere. Outside, the city was adorned with dazzling decorations, twinkling lights, and festive cheer, but you resigned yourself to missing out since Heeseung was busy with his idol duties. You understood his background, so you filled your day with Christmas movies, baking treats, and reading.
The sound of the front door opening broke your concentration. You set the book aside, confused. Heeseung had told you he'd be late, but it was still early. The bedroom door opened, and your eyes widened as Heeseung walked in.
"What are you doing here?" you asked, sitting up on the bed.
Heeseung smiled and sat next to you. "It's Christmas. The company let us off early to spend it with our loved ones."
A wide smile spread across your face as you hugged him tightly. "I'm so happy you're here!"
He hugged you back, but instead of pulling away, he lifted you off the bed and stood you up. "I want to take you somewhere."
You shook your head, concerned. "You might be tired. Maybe you should stay home and rest."
Heeseung chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from your face. "I didn't ask for your opinion. Go get dressed."
Sighing with a smile, you nodded and quickly got dressed:

Soon, you found yourself in the car with Heeseung, who was taking you to an unknown destination. The car eventually stopped on what looked like a deserted road. You noticed a pick-up truck parked on the side.
"Where are we?" you began to ask, but Heeseung was already out of the car, hurrying to open your door.
He held your hand, guiding you to the back of the pick-up truck. There, you saw blankets, pillows, and fairy lights arranged beautifully.
"I wanted a comfortable but quiet place to enjoy the fireworks," Heeseung said, smiling. "So, I borrowed my dad's pick-up truck."
You beamed at him. "This is perfect. Thank you."
Heeseung leaned in and kissed you softly. "Anything for you."
He climbed into the back of the truck and then helped you up. The two of you settled in, snuggling under the blankets as you waited for the fireworks to begin.
"I can't believe you did all this," you said, resting your head on his shoulder.
"I wanted to make this Christmas special for you," Heeseung replied, his voice soft. "You've been so understanding about my schedule. You deserve this."
You looked up at him, your heart swelling with affection. "You're amazing, you know that?"Heeseung grinned. "I try."
The night sky suddenly lit up with vibrant colors as the fireworks began. You gasped in delight, your eyes reflecting the dazzling display above. Heeseung's arm tightened around you, pulling you closer.
"This is beautiful," you whispered.
"Not as beautiful as you," he teased, his breath tickling your ear.
You laughed, nudging him playfully. "You're such a flirt."
Heeseung's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Only for you."
You both watched the fireworks in comfortable silence, the only sounds being the distant pops and crackles of the display. After a particularly loud burst, Heeseung turned to you with a playful smirk.
"Remember that time we tried to make a gingerbread house, and it collapsed?"
You groaned, rolling your eyes. "How could I forget? You insisted on using extra frosting."
"It was for structural integrity!" he defended, laughing.
"More like a sugary mess," you teased back.
Heeseung chuckled, his laughter mixing with the crackling fireworks. "We should try again next year. Maybe we'll get it right."
"Or maybe we'll just eat the frosting and call it a day," you suggested, giggling.
"Deal," he agreed, kissing your forehead.
As the fireworks continued, you felt a sense of contentment wash over you. Being with Heeseung, sharing these moments, made the holidays truly special.
"Thank you for making this Christmas unforgettable," you said, snuggling closer to him.
Heeseung looked down at you, his expression tender. "Thank you for being the best part of my life."
You both shared a sweet kiss under the fireworks, the perfect ending to a perfect Christmas day.
