Heeseung sustains a minor injury during rehearsals, leaving him feeling frustrated and discouraged.

Heeseung winced as he gingerly sat down on the couch, the ice pack resting on his ankle. The minor injury he sustained during rehearsals was more than just a physical pain—it was a hit to his morale. You could see the frustration etched on his face as he stared at his swollen ankle, clearly upset by the setback.

You knelt beside him, gently adjusting the ice pack to ensure it was providing the most relief. "Heeseung, it's just a minor injury. You'll be back on your feet in no time," you reassured him, your voice soft and comforting.

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know, but I feel like I've let everyone down. The guys were counting on me, and now they have to adjust the routine because of me."

You placed a gentle hand on his arm, looking up at him with empathy. "They understand, Heeseung. Injuries happen, and they know you didn't do this on purpose. The most important thing is that you take care of yourself and heal properly."

Heeseung looked down at you, his eyes filled with a mix of frustration and gratitude. "It's just hard, you know? I hate feeling like I'm holding everyone back."

You nodded, understanding his feelings completely. "I know it's tough, but you have to remember that your health comes first. The guys would much rather have you healthy and ready for the next performance than pushing yourself too hard and making things worse."

Heeseung's expression softened as he took in your words. "You're right, Y/N. I just... I hate feeling helpless."

You squeezed his arm gently. "You're not helpless. You're just human. And you're going to be okay."

He looked into your eyes deeply, a hint of a smile forming on his lips. "How do I deserve someone like you?" he asked, his voice filled with awe and affection.

You blushed slightly, feeling the warmth of his gaze. "Heeseung, you deserve all the love and care in the world. You're an amazing person, and I'm lucky to have you in my life."

He reached out, cupping your cheek with his hand. "No, I'm the lucky one," he said softly, his thumb brushing lightly against your skin. "You always know how to make me feel better, even when I'm at my lowest."

You leaned into his touch, your heart swelling with love for him. "That's what partners are for, right? To support each other through the good times and the bad."

Heeseung smiled, the frustration in his eyes giving way to gratitude. "Thank you, Y/N. For everything."

You smiled back at him, your hand gently resting on top of his. "Always, Heeseung. Now, let's make sure you're comfortable. Do you need anything else?"

He shook his head. "Just having you here is enough."

You spent the rest of the evening by his side, making sure he was comfortable and keeping him company. As the night went on, you shared stories and laughs, trying to keep his spirits high. Every now and then, you would catch him staring at you with that same look of gratitude and affection, making your heart flutter.

At one point, Heeseung reached out and took your hand in his. "You know, this isn't how I imagined spending the evening, but I'm really glad you're here with me," he said softly.

You squeezed his hand, smiling warmly. "Me too, Heeseung. We'll get through this together."He nodded, his eyes reflecting the depth of his feelings. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Y/N."

You leaned in and kissed his forehead gently. "You'll never have to find out, Heeseung. I'm here for you, always."

As the night wore on, Heeseung began to relax more, the initial frustration of his injury fading away in the warmth of your presence. You helped him settle into bed, making sure his ankle was properly elevated and the ice pack was secure.

Before you left his side, Heeseung pulled you in for a tight hug. "Thank you, Y/N. For everything you do. I love you."

You hugged him back, your heart full. "I love you too, Heeseung. Get some rest. You'll feel better in the morning."

He smiled, his eyes heavy with exhaustion but filled with affection. "Goodnight, Y/N."

"Goodnight, Heeseung," you replied softly, watching as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

As you quietly left the room, you couldn't help but feel a deep sense of contentment. Despite the challenges and setbacks, your bond with Heeseung was stronger than ever. And you knew that, together, you could face anything life threw your way.
