When you teach him English.

You come out of the bathroom, towel-drying your hair when your eye catches Heeseung, who is on the bed, looking super-duper focused on his phone. You joke, "You look like a guy who's studying for his exams."

Heeseung looks up and smiles, though it doesn't quite reach his eyes. "Hey," he says.

You put on a hoodie and shorts, still drying your hair with the towel, and sit across from him. "What's up? What are you doing?"

He sighs, putting his phone down. "We're going to have a lot of interviews in the future, and I need to improve my English. But honestly, I'm not that good at it."

You chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. "You're not bad at English. You're just overthinking it."

Heeseung reaches for your hand, his eyes pleading. "Can you help me? You speak English really well."

"Of course," you say, adjusting your sitting position. "Let's do this."

You start with some basic interview questions. "Okay, first question: Can you introduce yourself?"

Heeseung nods, taking a deep breath. "Hello, my name is Heeseung. I am... a member of... ENHYPEN."

"Great start!" you encourage him. "Now, why do you want to improve your English?"

"Uh... I want to... talk to... more fans and... do good in interviews."

"Perfect," you say. "Now let's move to something a bit more descriptive. What's your favorite part about being a member of ENHYPEN?"

Heeseung frowns, thinking hard. "My favorite part... is... um... performing on stage and... meeting fans."

"Good, but let's try to expand a bit more. Say, 'My favorite part about being a member of ENHYPEN is performing on stage because it allows me to connect with our fans on a deeper level.'"

Heeseung repeats after you, stumbling a little but getting through it. You give him an encouraging nod. "That's much better. Now, let's tackle some trickier questions. What's the most challenging aspect of being an idol?"

He hesitates, then answers, "The most challenging... aspect is... balancing... work and... personal life."

"That's a good answer," you say, smiling. "But try this: 'The most challenging aspect of being an idol is balancing the demands of our schedules with personal time, but it's all worth it when we see our fans happy.'"

Heeseung repeats it, this time with more confidence. You note down some common mistakes and areas he needs to work on, then practice some more on words and phrases likely to be used in interviews.

"Alright, one last practice question," you say. "What are your goals for the future?"

Heeseung takes a moment, then says, "My goals for... the future are... to improve my skills... and make... more music... that our fans will love."

"Good, but let's polish it a bit: 'My goals for the future include improving my skills and creating more music that our fans will love and enjoy.'"

Heeseung repeats it flawlessly, and you both shout, "Yes!" and let out a sigh of relief.

Before you can say anything else, Heeseung pulls you into a kiss, his lips warm and grateful against yours. "Thank you," he whispers.

You smile, your heart fluttering. "Anytime. You're doing great, Heeseung. Just keep practicing, and you'll be amazing in those interviews."

Heeseung grins, pulling you into a tight hug. "With you helping me, I feel like I can do anything."

You laugh, nuzzling into his shoulder. "That's the spirit. Now, let's celebrate with some ice cream!"

Heeseung's eyes light up, and he quickly agrees. As you both head to the kitchen, you can't help but feel proud of him and excited for all the amazing things to come.
