Heeseung convinces you to join him for a late-night snack run to satisfy your cravings

It was late at night, and the city had taken on a serene, almost magical quality under the soft glow of the streetlights. The air was cool and refreshing, and the streets were quiet, providing the perfect backdrop for a late-night snack run. Heeseung, sensing your restlessness, had convinced you to join him for a stroll to the nearby convenience store.

As you walked hand in hand, the comfort of his presence made the night feel even more special. Heeseung began to share a story, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.

"Did I ever tell you about the young girl who haunts these streets at night?" he asked, his tone playful but with just enough eeriness to send a shiver down your spine.

You clung to his arm a little tighter. "No, you haven't. And I'm not sure I want to hear it now," you said, your voice betraying a hint of nervousness.

Heeseung chuckled, the sound warm and reassuring. "Oh, come on, it's just a story. So, this girl... she was once a regular kid, loved by everyone in her neighborhood. But one night, she vanished without a trace. They say her spirit still roams the streets, looking for those who dare to wander late at night."

You shivered, wrapping both arms around his. "Okay, now I'm definitely scared. Thanks a lot, Heeseung."

He stopped walking and turned to face you, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Don't worry, Y/N. As long as I'm here, nothing's going to touch you. I'll protect you from any spooky spirits."

You smiled, feeling a little more at ease. "You better, Heeseung. Or else, I'm never going on a midnight snack run with you again."

He laughed and pulled you closer, resuming your walk towards the convenience store. The warmth of his arm around you and the playful banter helped dispel any lingering fear.

Upon reaching the store, you both headed straight for the snack aisles. You grabbed your favorite ice cream and a couple of cartons of chocolate milk, while Heeseung picked out his go-to snacks: a bag of chips and a pack of gummy bears.

As you approached the counter to pay, you tried to pull out your wallet, but Heeseung stopped you. "I've got this," he said firmly, smiling down at you.

You protested softly, "But, Heeseung, it's just snacks. I can pay for mine."

He shook his head, placing the items on the counter. "Nope, I insist. Consider it my treat for being brave enough to face the haunted streets with me."

You laughed, rolling your eyes but feeling incredibly cherished. "Alright, fine. Thank you, Heeseung."

Once you had your snacks, you both headed back out into the night. The walk back was filled with light-hearted conversation and laughter, the earlier scare long forgotten.

"Did you ever have any weird or creepy experiences?" you asked, curious.

Heeseung thought for a moment before shaking his head. "Not really. I guess I'm just lucky. Or maybe I'm too focused on other things to notice."

You chuckled, nudging him playfully. "Maybe you're just too brave."

"Or maybe I have you to protect me," he said with a wink, causing you to blush.

Back at your place, you settled on the couch, each with your chosen snacks. Heeseung opened his bag of chips, offering you some. You took a few, enjoying the easy companionship that had become such a natural part of your relationship.

As you ate your ice cream, Heeseung looked at you thoughtfully. "You know, I really enjoy these moments with you. Just hanging out, talking about everything and nothing."

You smiled, feeling a warmth in your chest. "Me too, Heeseung. It's these simple moments that mean the most."

He reached over and took your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I'm glad. And I'll always be here, whether it's for a midnight snack run or just to share some laughs."

You leaned into him, feeling content and grateful for his presence in your life. "Thank you, Heeseung. For everything."

Heeseung kissed your forehead, his lips lingering for a moment. "No need to thank me, Y/N. Being with you is the best part of my day."

As the night wore on, you both continued to talk and laugh, the city outside your window providing a soothing backdrop to your time together. And in that moment, surrounded by snacks and the comfort of Heeseung's presence, you realized just how lucky you were to have him by your side.
