When your crush dates your fellow member.

You were talking to your fellow PROMISE member, Lina, in your practice room about the upcoming sessions.

"I can't believe we have three more practice sessions this week," you sighed, stretching your arms above your head.

"I know, right? But it's going to be worth it," Lina said, smiling. "Hey, did you hear about ENHYPEN's new album?"

Your shoulders slumped at the mention of the boy group, and more specifically, Heeseung, the member you had a huge, undeniable crush on. Lina noticed the change in your demeanor and couldn't help but tease you.

"Oh, look at you blushing already!" she giggled, nudging you playfully.

"I am not!" you protested, sitting up straighter. "I just... admire their music, that's all."

Lina laughed, clearly not buying it. "Sure, sure. Anyway, where's Sera? She's usually here by now."

You were grateful for the change in topic. "She said she was with her boyfriend and his group. She wanted to surprise us by bringing them."

Lina raised an eyebrow. "A surprise, huh? Wonder who they could be."

Just then, the door opened, and Sera walked in with a radiant smile on her face. Jen, your leader, smirked and asked, "Well, what are you smiling about?"

Sera's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I brought my boyfriend and his group here. They're right outside the door."

Hana, another member, got up eagerly. "Bring them in already!"

Your eyes widened in shock as ENHYPEN walked in, led by none other than Heeseung. Your heart felt like it shattered into a million pieces when Heeseung put his arm around Sera's shoulder, introducing himself.

"Hey, I'm Heeseung, Sera's boyfriend," he said, his voice smooth and confident.

You and your fellow PROMISE members bowed politely, but Lina, who was the only one who knew about your crush, squeezed your hand reassuringly. When it was your turn to introduce yourself, you stuttered, feeling both nervous and heartbroken.

"I-I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you," you said, forcing a smile.

Heeseung's eyes met yours briefly, and you quickly looked away, unable to bear the sight of him with Sera. The rest of the introductions went by in a blur. You kept a fake smile plastered on your face, your mind swirling with a mix of emotions.

As you started practicing, Heeseung and the other ENHYPEN members sat down to watch. You tried your best to focus, but your heart wasn't in it. Every time you caught a glimpse of Heeseung, your heart ached even more. You couldn't help but think that it was your fault for not confessing your feelings sooner.

During the break, you saw Sera skip towards Heeseung, who greeted her with that attractive smile of his. Your chest tightened, and you decided to sit away from everyone, isolating yourself in the corner of the room and scrolling through your phone.

Lina noticed and came over, sitting beside you. "Hey, you okay?"

You nodded, but your eyes were welling up with tears. "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Y/N, you don't have to pretend with me," Lina said gently.

You took a deep breath, trying to hold back your tears. "It just hurts, you know? Seeing them together. I know it's my fault for not saying anything, but it still hurts."

Lina wrapped an arm around you. "It's not your fault, Y/N. Feelings are complicated. You can't control them, and you shouldn't blame yourself."

You appreciated her comfort, but the pain was still there. "Thanks, Lina. I just need some time to process this."

Lina nodded, giving you a reassuring squeeze. "Take all the time you need. We're here for you."You took another deep breath, gathering your courage, and walked over to Jen, who was talking with Hana. "Jen, can I talk to you for a second?"

Jen nodded, excusing herself from Hana. "Sure, what's up?"

You hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I... I'm not feeling well. I think I need to head home early today."

Jen studied your face, her expression softening. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah," you lied, trying to muster a convincing smile. "Just need to rest a bit."

"Alright," Jen said, patting your shoulder. "Take care of yourself. We'll manage here."

You nodded, feeling the lump in your throat grow as you walked back to your corner to grab your bag. You couldn't help but glance one last time at Heeseung, who was laughing at something Sera said. It felt like a punch to the gut.

With your bag slung over your shoulder, you walked out of the practice room, the door closing behind you with a soft click. Once you were outside, you allowed yourself to breathe, feeling the tears spill over. You walked quickly, wanting to get as far away as possible.

As you left the building, you felt the weight of your heartbreak fully settle in. You knew you needed time to heal, but it seemed impossible with the image of Heeseung and Sera etched into your mind. The pain was raw and real, but you reminded yourself that you had the support of your friends. Even if it would take time, you would get through this.
