On the TWICE side, Mina, Momo, and Nayeon were ready to compete. As you stood at the starting line, you caught Heeseung's eye across the field. He smiled at you and winked, making your face heat up. You quickly turned away, focusing on the race ahead.
The whistle blew, and Hana took off, running as fast as she could. Lina was next, giving her all despite TWICE pulling ahead slightly. You felt the pressure build as you waited for the baton. The moment Lina handed it to you, you exploded into action, legs pumping furiously. The crowd's cheers blurred into a single roar in your ears.
You could see Momo ahead, but you pushed harder, gaining on her with every stride. The finish line was in sight, and with a final burst of energy, you passed Momo, crossing the line first. The stadium erupted in shock and applause as PROMISE clinched an unexpected victory. You couldn't believe it yourself.
You turned around to see your teammates running towards you, their faces lit up with joy. Hana and Lina hugged you tightly, the three of you jumping up and down in celebration. The rest of your members, Jen, Minji, Yuna, and Sera, rushed over to join the celebration.
"Y/N, you were amazing!" Hana exclaimed, beaming with pride.
"I can't believe we won!" Lina added, still catching her breath.
From across the field, you noticed Heeseung watching you with an impressed smile. He gave you a thumbs up, and you couldn't help but smile back, feeling a flutter in your chest.
As the excitement from your race died down, the boys' relay race started. ENHYPEN was up against SEVENTEEN, and the competition was fierce. The baton passed smoothly between the ENHYPEN members, each one running with determination. Heeseung, the anchor of their team, took the baton for the final stretch. He sprinted with incredible speed, overtaking the SEVENTEEN member and securing another victory for his team.
