Jiae sat on her couch with her elbows on the hand rest and her head on her palm as she silently dwelled in regret of her own actions.

Mina put away their dishes and took a seat on the couch near her bestfriend.

"So Mina, how do you approach someone you're not that close to but they wanted to do something good for you and you raged at them cause you're overwhelmed now your regret it-"

"Woah woah bitch slow down. Who are we talking about here?" Mina gave her roommate a curious look as Jiae finally stopped sitting like a lifeless doll and looked at her bestfriend.

"Haechan,"

Mina choked on her orange juice.

Two hours ago

Her classes had just ended and she decided maybe she should look for Jaemin cause anybody else would probably not be able to handle her current mental state. Yes she still wasn't very happy about what he had said about Haechan, but he was her cousin and the world could go to shit- they'd still find eachother. That's how close those two were, bread and butter since day one.

As she was walking through the foyer she had her phone ringing in her pocket. With annoyance she was about to cut the call but paused when she saw the caller ID of her ex roommate. Suddenly her demeanour changed and she quickly picked up the call.

"Taeyeon unni-"

"It's okay baby, I'm on it. I just need you to answer some questions,"

"Can I...call you back after I get home?"

"Sure, I'll wai-" her words got cut off when a male voice talked to Taeyeon on the other line

"Tae we just got the report,"

"On second thought, call me tomorrow," Taeyeon told her in a rush and Jiae bid her goodbye understanding she must be busy. She sighed and continued walking when somebody pulled on her low bun.

"Hey angel,"

She knew exactly who that was without even looking. Her thoughts went back to what Hana had said earlier and her eyes trailed on the bruise on his neck.

"Since when did you start greeting me," she looked away when replying, not wanting to let her intrusive anger take over. "Annoying you is kinda my part time job,"

"Why are you even here?" She asked as they both started taking their way through the empty and rather quiet walk way now.

"Cause we're going the same way, and have you seen the time-?" he rolled his eyes and stated matter-of-factly. That made her pause.

"Why are you acting like this?"

He looked back at her with an eyebrow raised before turning around so that's they're facing eachother, "Acting like what?"

"Acting different to the point everyone can tell," she said, still trying to maintain her calm which she new was at the verge of snapping. His playful look toned down to be a bit more blank, "What are you even-"

"Just stop! Stop this pity party I didn't ask none of you for sympathy!" She yelled out abruptly which made the brunette frown.

......pity party-?

Before he could even open his mouth, she continued, "I'm literally fine! I don't care what others say or do so I really don't need you of all people to act all hero for me Haechan! You hated me mere two weeks ago and don't even think we can be friends?! I think can handle myself just fucking fine without your pity!" Her breath got heavier, her rage not anywhere near subduing now that is already made it's way out.
