Haechan slowed his car down at the gate and a voice spoke from the mic, "identification?"

"Do I really have to right now?!" He questioned, rather annoyed and the guard looked up from his stall in panic at the known voice. He gave a little bow and opened the gate wasting another second.

The brunette glanced over to his side to see Jiae silently looking around as they drove through the series of villas on their sides and a neatly kept road in the center. The ambient lighting of each structure gave it an aesthetic glow and the night lights along with the little park around the corner gave quite an impression.

"Our higher level officers and most of our extended family live here for.....I guess safety reasons,"

"Since when were you some sort of chaebol?" She blurted out and he pursed his lips together. "What does it look like?"

He saw how visibly uncomfortable she grew and ended up rolling his eyes, "I'm not out of a fucking movie if that's what you're thinking. You know my goddamn family,"

"Yeah that was when we were children and when your place used to be more digestible. Considering how I had no idea how your parents' relationship was with you even after knowing you for years...."

"Don't tell me you're suddenly scared of me," he gave her a look of incredulity.

"Based on what you did earlier-"

"I did it to get you out. And I'm not one of them. Don't call me that. Ever," he monotoned and that made the raven head zip her mouth shut. He parked his car in front of what looked like a mini white mansion. Mini was not what she called it but rather what Haechan called it. The boy walked around  to the other side to open the door for her and she tried standing up but had a hard time balancing herself. Her body had started catching up to the shock, fear and exhaustion after all the adrenaline drowned down.

He assisted her up the stairs until she was able to balance on herself without having her head spin. She blinked to get a clear vision of where they were but undoubtedly she'd never been here before. Haechan rang the bell of the black door surrounding a while frame and a woman with a black and white attire in a slicked back low bun opened the door.

The woman's eyes widened at the sight of the two and she did bowed while her eyes moved to the two holding hands which he did earlier to help her up. Jiae thought of pulling it back but he wouldn't budge. Instead, he gave the woman a respectful bow back and walked in, "Is hyung home?" He asked and she shook her head, "Sir will be back late today. The others are inside,"

Haechan sighed and nodded, letting go of her hand as they walked through the foyer. She looked around and noticed how there were family pictures; many of them. Neatly organised house plants lined the corners of the corridor and very minimal choice of decoration in patterns of black, white and woody structures embellished the place. Everything was simple yet looked to be a million dollars, and it probably was.

They approached the door which had a few voices coming from the inside and as soon as the pair stepped in, all eyes turned to them.

This room was more extravagant. The intense scent of sophisticated incense burning hit her nose. She could tell this was the living room from the classic decor and the ginormous chandelier hanging from the ceiling, along the centre.

There was a man in a navy sweater and cream pants, neatly kept black hair and a cup of what could be deduced as red wine on his hands. The other unfamiliar one was a brown haired one who had his elbow propped on the side rest of he couch and the final one, the only one Jiae recognised was, Johnny Suh; the two also had glasses of wine in their hands.
