"You might wanna buckle up," he warned and she squealed when he suddenly accelerated, picking up speed as they hit the highway.

Jiae didn't go out much at night due to safety reasons. And she'd only seen the city at night once- that also with Haechan.

"Is this the privilege of being a man?" She joked and removed her jacket after feeling comfortable enough to do so, letting the gush of wind from the open windows drown all her thoughts. He took silent glimpses at her with a smile printed on his lips, glad he got her to enjoy this.

He turned up the music and she hummed along.

"Didn't know you'd listen to Bryan Adams," he spoke in between their comfortable silence as the classic rock ballad played in the background.

"Who doesn't is a better question," she chuckled.

After awhile, he toned down the music which was their seventh song. Going from the rock ballads to some how ending up with Michael Jackson hits. She frowned at the suddenly change and how the car slowed down but he signalled her towards a particularly brightly lit area nearby. They approached a region where upbeat Spanish music wasvblaring in a distance. Songs she hadn't heard in years now. There were festive lights up and the aroma of mouthwatering street food surrounded the air. Soon enough, she also realised they were not the only sweet ride here. It was a car meet.

Jiae took in very detail of the experience that she never actually thought of before and an impressed chortle leaving her as she turned to him. Meanwhile the brunette was already busy greeting people in their own hand language from the car itself as they slowed down at the bustling street. One thing she didn't fail to notice is the amount of attention they drew. She could swear she heard people whispering amongst themselves.

Then again, Haechan had a really wide social network with his extroverted personality. Not that she didn't know people- she did, but her nature wasn't as outgoing as his.

People were gathered near the few caravans and makeshift food stalls where music blared and groups of people were making themselves comfortable dancing around or simply talking.

"....damn," she said and he lightly chuckled at her reaction, "Wanna walk around?" He asked with a glance at her and she nodded, "I don't see why sit inside after coming here,"

He parked the car beside a few other quite expensive set of cars that she thought were on display. And as people started approaching them, she realised he is putting his on display.

"Do people...know you around here?"

"Know is an understatement, angel," he winked at her.

With the light illuminating her view now, she finally realised how beautiful he looked in simple relaxed casual clothing. Black jeans paired with a black t-shirt and a half sleeved off white shirt on top with a watch that tied it all together. She watched as he walked up to her from the other side of the car after locking it. A few people called out to him as they approached the two of them. Haechan took a quick glance at her and leaned in a bit to whisper, "I don't want you in trouble, so don't run off with people here it's still-"

"I'm not a child," she told him looking slightly offended and he responded to that with a peck on the pout on her lips that she didn't know was there. "Bro you finally showed up?!" A specifically tall man walked up to them and beside him were two more- one had bright red hair and the other was sporting a black sleeveless.

"Just got caught up with uni," Haechan casually bro hugged the taller man and did a few greetings. Jiae thought maybe she should move away but the tall man with black hair called out to her, "And who's this beauty here?" He asked with a slight smirk to Haechan. An idea bulb lit in her mind and she smiled to herself knowing she had the perfect opportunity to mess with his head.
