Jiae heaved a sigh as she put aside her guitar, remembering how she needed a new stash of supplies and snacks for herself. It was mainly because exam seasons were right around the corner. She had planned to get them with Mina but they postponed their little shopping trip to tomorrow and getting them tomorrow would be fine if she wasn't on her periods or not in desperate need of sanitary pads.

Unwillingly, she got up and threw on her jacket and slipped into her shoes. She lazily strolled towards the convenience store which was thankfully near to the campus dormitory and hummed a little tune that she had recently come up with but hadn't figured out any lyrics for it yet.

She had to admit, she was proud of herself for the acoustic piece she finally managed to create. But her jolly mood was disrupted and a sigh left her lips when her mind involuntarily drifted to the clock. Then to a certain brunette.

It's nearly 12. But he said he'd be late though. Why am I even thinking about this?

The raven head shook her head as she picked up a basket from the entrance, realising she was already inside the the shop. After quickly searching the place for what she'd need, she rushed to the counter and before she could place her basket a hand interrupted her half way.

It made the girl frown in mild annoyance.

"It's just a Kimbap. You seem to have more things," a low voice spoke making the girl look up. She parted her mouth to speak but the moment it met his eyes it lost all words. Nothing about the boy looked familiar. The dark black long hair which almost shaded down his eyes, all black attire and neck adorned with silver jewelry. Yet something told her she saw him somewhere.

But before she could say anything the man was already out of through the door. Jiae stood there frozen, not completely understanding what just happened. Reality was only snapped back into her when the cashier cleared her throat to get the girl's attention who rushed to hand her basket to him, bowing a little with an apology.

She walked back to her room but her attempts to sleep were absolutely useless. Her eyes kept darting to the time and the queasy feeling in her stomach would not settle down. In the end she decided to fuck it and slid out her phone to text the person that for some reason hadn't left her mind. She told herself it was because she was used to his nagging. Well, that's what she told herself.

Haechan begrudgingly opened his eyes and slammed his hand over his alarm to turn the buzzing of it off. For once he thanked himself for being a light sleeper or else he most likely would've slept in the entire day with how exhausted his body actually was. Both physically and mentally. They left him at his residence around half past 4 am. It was currently nearly 8.

The drive from his place to the university was about 40 minutes on a traffic free road which was the primary reason why he opted for the dormitory in the first place.

Not bothering with breakfast, he somehow cleaned and dressed himself up in jeans, white T-shirt and his varsity jacket. Once he arrived to his destination, he headed straight to his dorm and with the silence, he assumed everyone had already left.

Except he was wrong because the moment he entered his room he was met with a panicked woman who was frantically stuffing items into her bag, her outfit of choice being her simple scrubs and hair tied into a messy low bun.

That sight however took an abrupt stop when the girl set her eyes on him. She stayed silent for a bit before her face morphed into a frown.

Haechan couldn't quite read the expression but it was obvious she was annoyed- and that's when he remembered, he still hadn't replied to her texts.
