"Check mate, Lee Haechan,"

Those were the last words spoken before the call ended with the voided sound. The brunettes eyes carefully moved to the girl beside him. Then to the red beeping device on her shoulder.

He blankly turned his head to have the gun pointed at the center of his forehead and met eyes with the brown haired girl that did her best to not appear faltered. But the slight quiver of her hands, shake of her pupils and the gulp that ran down her throat- none of it missed Haechan's eyes as he carefully and slowly ran his eyes over her face before realising.

This was smart. Cute.

His lips curled up a little on one side and eyes daringly gaped into hers.

"Park Mina. I know you're not that dumb," he eyed her up and down once and the ambiguity of his words made the girl frown in puzzlement. Little did she know, those words meant utterly and literally, nothing.

Just distraction.

He internally chuckled and for the few seconds in which the confusion of his words hung in the air, his hand which wasn't in her view locked onto the handle at the side of his seat, near the door.

"What-"

He pulled the lever on the side of his door.

Pushed back in his seat. The seat reclined to the absolute lowest and within a blink an eye he hauled himself upwards. His feet swung precisely onto her hand and the gun was kicked out of her grip.

Mina's eyes widened and lips parted in shock. But she didn't get the chance to process that yet, though. He swiftly covered her mouth and tackled her against her seat. Their faces were dangerously close in the unnecessarily tight space of his car. His knees pressed on either sides of her thighs as he reclinced her seat too with his free hand. Breathing heavy and uneven. The tension was burning in the air as his hooded eyes austerely glared into hers. A look that could kill.

Their approximity was uncomfortable. Horrible. But they had no choice. His eyes slowly moved to her shoulder, where the red glow of a small device resided and then back at her. She seemed to get the message. At least he hoped she did because he didn't want to knock her out. He would if he had to though. Explaining the situation to Mark was secondary to having everyone make it out of this insanity, in one piece.

He gradually removed his hand from her and mouthed play along. The girl rolled her eyes and mouthed back get off me first.

He mirrored her eyeroll and out of sheer distrust, he aggressively pulled on her locket that tore the chain apart, earning a soft pained cry from the girl. It had a chip inside it too.

His fingers than pulled her shirt to the side to reveal her bra strap from the collar of her green sweater. She didn't have the time to comprehend anything as he latched his index around it and deftly unclipped it, rendering the girl speechless.

Mina had tried to do it herself at least tenths of time in the past half an hour. Only then did she realise exactly who she was dealing with.

He didn't care. Not an ounce of remorse for the bruise caused by him pulling on her chain. Not at ounce of guilt for tugging on her clothing neither for hindering her personal space. The scariest, most disturbing scene for her was how he rolled back into his seat with a completely blank face. Bored expression as he opened his central console and took out a little black box from it, placing the two small pieces of red in it before pitched it to the back of the car.
