All the way back home, Haechan has been ranting away about how the thunderbolts are utter bitches. Now thirty minutes into the drive, he finally had it all out of his chest and Dalbyeol was already snoozing in the back seat. Jiae meanwhile, was humming along to whatever he was saying, too spaced out into her thoughts to take note of the details. Her brain summarised what he said as: they intentionally hurt Chenle, the new player is a bitch and the substitute coach in the absence of their usual one match fixed.
Her mind was too busy ruminating about Mina and her brother. The brunette girl hadn't uttered a word and left with Jisung as soon as she spotted him. Jisung had given Jiae a questioning look but she figured it was their family matter afterall so he should be knowing about their eldest visiting them from Mina herself.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't shake the anxious feeling that bugged her. She was so into her trance that she hadn't even noticed that the brunette on the wheel had long stopped talking and was glancing at her solemn face every now then.
"So....what's wrong?" He voiced and that finally broke her sequence of thoughts.
"Wrong? Nothings wrong I'm just tired," she replied with a dry chuckle, flashing a smile at him. Haechan was unconvinced but he decided on not prying too much. He had to learn to not worry a whole lot about every episode of her being upset since her mood swings had become rather a common occurrence. But it turned unusual when it prolonged much later into the night.
The girl was in the middle of taking her supplements when she felt a pair of arms back hugging her. With the bottle of water still in her hands and the other hand holding the film of tablets, she glanced over her shoulder to find a pair of honey pooled eyes looking down at her.
"Seriously, are you alright?" He frowned and she stared at him for a hot minute before sighing. She motioned him to sit down as she left his arms and went to keep the items on her hand in it's place. The raven head opened the drawer and her eyes diverted to the bottle of darvocet resting in the corner. She had completely forgotten about it but now that it crossed her, she made a mental note to ask the psychology professor about it's usage and side effects layer on.
The girl turned around and found him already in the covers, sitting with his back to the head rest of the bed. A smile crept up on her lips at the invitation stance of his, calling her to cuddle. She crawled into the empty space beside him, his arms automatically going around as she made herself comfortable.
"So..."

Jiae dashed through the busy streets and took a beeline towards Café dream is love. With rushed feet and panic stamped all over her features, she pushed the glass door open and scoured the place with her eyes until it landed on the mop of blond hair. She instantly went towards him and plopped her bag opposite to him, throwing herself into the seat infront of his with an exasperation.
"So what the fuck are we doing about this-? No no did you know about this? Mark I swea-"
"Does it look like I knew?! This is ridiculous!" He exclaimed, letting his head fall into his hands, brushing his hair back in frustration. Jiae sighed with a scowl as well, absolutely done with the antics of their parents. As fully grown adults, this was starting to feel unbearable. The raven head tried her best to calm her nerves down, resting her elbows on the table and shut her eyes closed for a few seconds before reopening them.
"So....my parents want me to go to a set up date with this guy called Minhyung, which is absurd itself. And they have no fucking idea that Minhyung is Mark- who the fuck told you to have two names?"
