Skyfall - Adele

"You know, in the end it's up to you," Jihyun mumbled against her ears from behind. A shiver ran down Mina's spin and accumulated tears at the corner of his eyes ran down like water falls when she heard her brother back away, hearing another footstep approach instead.
She was terrified of turning her head, scared of what kind of reality she might be faced with. But the reality came clashing down on her anyway as the legs of the chair was kicked an inch forward. She screamed in horror, the cold breeze feeling more intense on her skin than usual.
"Please..."
"What's your decision?" The new, much deeper of a voice spoke, indicating her brother had left the job to him.
At least he hesitated to kill me himself? Damn Mina great standards you got there.
"I-I already told-"
The chair was roughly pushed farther but the very next second came the most terrifying sight the girl had probably ever experienced. A person dressed in black slithered behind the two. Two gunshots were heard and the next thing she knew— blood of the man behind her was splattered on her shoulder.
Her body shuddered and eyes went wide with tears. The masked man that allegedly shot him appeared beside her, untying her hands and legs. He didn't speak a word as the girl stood up with wobbling legs.
The short brunette could feel her throat dry up and all she could think of was how to get away from here. Meanwhile, the man paid no heed to her, silently looking around until he spotted a group of four men rushing towards them.
Once again, everything happened in a blink of an eye and she felt as if her heart had left it's body. The man turned around and shoved her to the edge, making her scream out loud.
Why the fuck would you save me then?
"Don't worry," he spoke for the first time in a low tone and he peaked at the edge of the dam. She was sure she heard it somewhere before. The man hurriedly turned to the approaching group and then looked back at her.
"You'll be fine," he monotoned and nonchalantly pushed her off the dam.
Her heart stopped beating right there. She was convinced this was it, reciting all the prayers she could think of as she felt the excessive pressure of the wind against her skin. But the fall seemed never ending for some reason.
When her body bounced against a surface instead of colliding harshly to the still, cold waters, all she could question was if she had somehow reached heaven.
Her eyes remained closed till the movement stopped. Her head was spinning badly from the fall and the constant up and down ever since she fell. Her body felt uncomfortable but she couldn't pinpoint where it exactly hurt. Mina had no comprehension of what was going on.
If I'm in heaven then why the fuck does my head hurt?
Her realisation that she was alive came to her with her body being held in a pair of arms until both of them reached a steady ground. She couldn't open her eyes properly, it took her some time to adjust after what had just happened.
Angels? Am I dead ye-
"Do you weigh anything at all? I would've prepared more if I knew you were this weak,"
That sarcastic, condescending tone could never come from an angel. Her eyes shot open to be met with the sight of none other than the devil, Lee Haechan himself carrying her down what appeared to be a trampoline. Mina froze when she started to piece together what just happened. She would speak but the ever present tension she felt between them, from being this close made her want to dig a hole and bury herself in it.
