100 ~ Rainy Days! ~ 100

First off, this marks the 100th one shot. Also, i'm going to see if I can fit every hermit who is active in here, so look out for a long chapter!!
I have to start with G Man because he got my into hc in the first place! And you also know that I'm including EX and Hels too..

G R I A N - Curl Up With A Good Book
I opened the curtains this morning hoping for sunlight. But got rain instead. Great. Fantastic. I was looking forwards to working on my base. Guess it's going to have to wait. I looked around for something to do. My eyes were quickly drawn to the bookshelf. Maybe I could read sitting in my favorite seat at the bay window.

I read maybe three chapters and quickly got bored. I needed something else to do. Maybe clean a bit? I haven't cleaned the base of shulker boxes yet? But that would take all day. I decided to do it. Besides, where was I going to go? What else was there to do when one was stuck indoors. I sighed and got to work.

I had almost gotten all the boxes cleaned up but I had one that didn't look like a shulker. It was made of wood with a heavy silver lock on it. A chest. And I knew exactly was in that box. All my watcher stuff. My robes, my mask. My past. I didn't want to think of it. So I had pushed that box up to the hole where Impulse was blowing the inside of the mountain up and right to the edge underneith where the tnt would drop. The brunette was, in fact, standing up there. "Go ahead and start it. I don't want this anymore. Blow it up please." He didn't say anything to me and I left. But as I was heading back down the mountain, I heard him start the tnt up and hit the earth with loud booms.

I brushed my hands together. A job done. Now, to go go back home, peel off these clothes and curl up with the book again

M U M B O - Sorting Chests With Iskall
I sat in my basement trying to figure out how to work this redstone machine. It kept malfuntioning, belching black smoke like a fire. I sighed after the upteenth time. I think it was about time to stop. I dusted off my clothes and fixed my bangs, getting redstone dust in my hair and walked upstairs. Now that I think about it, when was the last time I ate? My stomach answered for me. I shrugged. Fair enough.

I walked upstairs to my kitchen to hear the rain pounding on my metal roof. I sighed. Rain always made me feel lazy and I hated it. I picked up my phone, but then just placed it right back down. I didn't want to talk to or see anyone. I sighed. Maybe I should start on organizing my chests. But then I heard a knock on my door and a soaking wet Iskall had come in. "I wanted to hang out with you." Was all he said. "I pointed at my chests. "Then you can help me organize those."

S C A R - A Drowned Rat Known As Bdubs & A Book
I quickly had to take cover at Bdubs's place. He wasn't home. And as I wandered around, I admired every little detail, not daring to touch anything he built, lest I break it. I always had the tendency to do that. I noticed a bookshelf full of old books and pulled one out. It was falling apart from use. It must have been one of his favorites, so I put it back and grabbed another one. The Moth & The Spider. Huh.

I found a comfy chair and a lamp to read by. I didn't dare turn lights on for fear I would disrupt the stillness the peacefulness surrounding me.

That was until I got to chapter 6 and the door opened and a soping creeper, a wet dog, a drenched brunette and a drowned rat came through the door. Doc, Ren, Keralis and Bdubs. I put down the book onto the table in front of me and waved. Bdubs waved back. "Found straglers out in the storm."

When I was out collecting sand, I heard thunder in the distance. I shivered. I hated thunderstorms. And I knew that Ren wasn't a fan of them either. Keralis hated it when the lightning struck his house and I knew Doc would continue working even if he was drenched.
