He always had nicknames for all the hermits. I never did. Did I do something wrong? Was I just not special enough? I sighed. I didn't have time for this anyways. I had work to do and it didn't help that X had called a meeting. I wasn't going to atend.
But X just ended up somehow finding me. "Why weren't you at the meeting?" I shrugged, not wanting to get into it, but he's very persistent when he wants to be.
"What's wrong? I know something is bothering you." I sighed. "It might sound childish or stupid. And I know I'm going to sound jealous of everyone else, but I want a nickname too. It's not fair that you make up nicknames for the others, but not with me. Am I just not good enough?" I asked, not stopping my work.
It was silent, and I had believed he had walked away. But then, "Dragon." I stopped what I was doing and turned to him, shocked. "Dragon. Your nickname. I never made one for you, because I thought you didn't like nicknames." He said, scratching the back of hos neck nervously.
I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you."
