Ok. I read this cute book by SparklingWonderQueen
Called Xelqua Rising
Grian tells Miesall about this place called the Server Hub. They escape together. They get found by another watcher. XisumaVoid doesn't have any ill intent and he brings the two to HermitCraft and protects the two watchers against the very creatures that want to control them so much.

Miesall is a watcher. He goes with Grian into a server called HermitCraft. XisumaVoid is a watcher too and sensed the two watchers.

Xelqua could always remember his past. He never brought it up because the others wouldn't be happy.

There was one watcher who kept him sane and calm and in check. He was his mentor, his rock and best friend. Just over a year ago, his heart fluttered every time he was with him or he was talked about or mentioned. His name sparked something inside him that no one ever has.

Miesall.

Yes, it was against watcher code to fall in love, but that didn't stop Xel from feeling that way. It wasn't against the law if he didn't act on those feelings, and no one knows of them right? Right.

Currently, he was sitting in a magic class taught by Miesall and he was zoned out thinking about him.

'What would it be like to kiss him?' He wondered.

Miesall often always knew when Xelqua wasn't paying attention. He knew he wasn't listening right then, but he didn't care.

He knew there must be a reason for it.

It was only the two of them in the room, so when Xelqua suddenly spoke during a break in Miesall's speech, it was deathly quiet.

"I wonder what it would be like to run away. Go to a different server and just observe in person." Miesall arched his eyebrow. "No one has ever been asked to do something like that," replied The mentor in Galactic, a language only known by the watchers.

Xelqua sighed quietly. "I know. But it would be a lot more educational for me to do practice, don't you think?"

Miesall had to think. Whenever there was written work, he would take more than an hour to complete just one question. But if Xel was showing what he knew about a subject before he was taught about it, he was a fast worker. When in a though spot and needed to be very quick, Xelqua could think fast and be lightning on his toes. Miesall sighed. "I'll see if I can't persuade them." Was all he said about it.

When I went to go into the sanctum, the doors opened and a boy about Xelqua's age ran out crying. I raised my eyebrow at that, but didn't question it. He was a watcher so maybe he had gotten in trouble.

I shrugged and walked in. 'Miesall,' they signed. I nodded but didn't look at them.

'What's the pleasure of your appearance this time?' I took a deep breath even though I was terrified of the Void.

'I believe Xelqua is doing really well in his classes,' I began. 'But maybe, with your approval, I can go on a little trip with him to another server? I think this is good for him because he's really better with practical work instead of written. When we come back I would give him a test to see how well he knows about what us watchers truly do.' I sighed back.

It was silent for a moment until.. 'are you mad?' My heart sunk. I didn't want to go back to the void. 'No wait.' The woman replied. 'I do think the young watcher is on to something. However, neither of you can say who he truly is. We want you to call him Grian again until you both come back.' I was shocked. 'We give you and Xelqua permission to go to the server hub. Pick whichever server you want. When you go into the portal, you and him will look different.' I nodded. 'Like normal players.' She said.

'Another thing. Neither of you can use your magic at all. Not in those bodies. They will burn up and you will be sent back here.' I nodded, seriously.

I knew they weren't joking about that.

'You are dismissed.' I nodded and left quietly. Why must I put up with Xelqua? Maybe because he mostly only listens to me? Because he's really clingy? Or is it because he doesn't trust anyone else but me? I mean, I was with him from the very beginning. And I stayed by his side when we put him into that sleep to become one of us. So I didn't judge him on wanting only me.

But, I could tell that something else was wrong with him. And I knew exactly what.

I knew that Xelqua fell in love. I didn't say anything about it because I would get both of us in trouble.

Watchers weren't meant to fall in love. Although, I didn't know who it was anyway.

When I got back to Xelqua, he was writing something. I tapped him on the shoulder. He jumped and turned around.

"I have good news. They agreed to let me take you to a server of your choice to observe like a watcher does." He smiled. "One catch." The smile went away. "A written test when we come back." He nodded. "Ok fine." I nodded.

That night, I couldn't seem to relax. Miesall explained everything. How I can't use my magic, like I could do that anyways, and some other details. I couldn't even focus on what he was saying because I was so excited.

Especially because I would be Grian again. I smiled.

Whenever I couldn't sleep, I thought back to my parents. I missed them yes, but I wasn't about to say that out loud.

I don't know why I still remember everything, whatever they did to make me forget, didn't work.

When the first light of dawn came, so did the knock at the door like I always preferred.

When I didn't answer right away, Miesall opened the door and signed. "Are you ready?" I nodded and got out of bed. He shook his head. I got used to having Him see me naked so I didn't care about taking my clothes off in front of him anymore.

Yet, he still looked away like always. Once I was ready, my mentor held out his hand. Once our hands touched, I felt dizzy and faint, but the feeling went away as fast as it came. The room blurred together until we were standing in a tunnel full of warped color. Then it faded and we were in this big long hall with a curved windowed ceiling.

"Welcome, Grian, to the main server hub. Pick whichever server you want," Miesall said waving his hand around. I walked around looking at the endless hall.

There was one called Evolutions. Another called YHS whatever that meant. I stopped at a dark wooden door labeled 'HermitCraft,' and pointed.

"This one?" He asked and I nodded. "Whichever one."

We stepped up to the guard and waved. He stopped us. "Sorry. This is a whitelisted server sorry." "Watcher in training," Miesall said to him. He looked scared. "S-sorry. I'll go get the admin for you. He is in charge of the server." The guard said as he ran through the door.

"That will be on the test so remember that." I looked up at my mentor and nodded.

A couple minutes later, the guard came back with a boy my age.

"Why, hello there," he said in a British accent. "How can I help you?" Miesall looked uncomfortable but I felt safe like I do around my mentor.

"Hi," I said cheerfully. "We would like to join your server." He looked pleasantly surprised. "Sure. What are your names so I can whitelist you?" He said.

"Grian." "Miesall.." The admin's hands stoped moving. "M-Miesall?"

Miesall sighed. "XisumaVoid. How is life treating you since you escaped us watchers?" He looked worriedly at Grian. "Watcher in training. Don't worry. We won't let anyone know you are here. I let him pick the server." He nodded, a bit more nervously.

"O-okay. It's done. Follow me and I'll introduce you to everyone. But one request. Don't tell anyone I'm a watcher or that they even exist." I nodded seriously so did Miesall.

Did I do you proud, SparklingWonderQueen
