It had been four days since May came into Peter and Raven's life. Every day since, felt like the best dream they simply wouldn't wake up from. The more time they spent with her, the more they could see parts of each other in her. With a rather studious curiosity she had towards the others like Kaldur, Superboy, as well as Tim's tenure as Robin. Though she wasn't nearly as reserved as Raven, Peter could see the temper she was known for showing at times.

With each day, Raven would teach her a little bit more about her abilities. By the third day, flight was something she got the hang of with proud excitement. However, once they moved onto things like her soul self and learning spells, that seemed to be a bit more difficult for her. With her daughter only managing to produce a slight dark aura around her body.

It became quickly apparent that while she had inherited the laser like focus that came with spider powers, it was difficult for them to benefit her. Each time Raven and May tried to get her soul self to manifest, she could never get it past a light glow, and it certainly looked as though it took a lot of effort. Raven could tell that while she may have been talented at resisting her telepathic and empathic powers, that talent came as a double edged sword for her. With the girl's grip on her self control being so tight, it was as if she had subconsciously locked that part of herself away. Raven only hoped that it wasn't actually her future self to blame for this, but she had a feeling that it was true.

More and more her and Peter learned that as far as parents went, they weren't the strictest in the world. Except when it came to her powers and anything superhero related. Even though, May clearly knew about this part of their lives to some degree from an early age, they could tell that their future selves did everything in their power to keep their daughter from being forced into that life like they were. Everything that seemed to be holding her back, was simply to protect her. Seeing her now in a vulnerable situation such as time travel, this only reinforced their determination to make sure she was prepared for anything that came her way.

Though they were still puzzled by the presence of this mystery girl from the future, May still managed to blend in seamlessly in the background for the first few days. Peter would occasionally notice a notepad in the girl's hand, only to catch her sketching one of the others in secret with a decent amount of detail. In fact, he often saw her sketching a lot of scenes around her while they were all hanging out, whether it be a table, or the room, or even the view out her window. In these moments, he and Raven couldn't help but smile fondly watching her do something she enjoyed. They only hoped the others wouldn't get upset at her for sketching them in secret.

While things seemed to be going smoothly for the first few days, some of the others like Megan, Artemis, and Kaldur began to wonder if she was a new member. This puzzled Peter and Raven, and they weren't even able to answer the question, because they didn't know what to do. For this time being, they were torn between their responsibility to be their for the ones they loved, but now they had someone they loved possibly more than anything, and they were willing to do anything to protect her. They didn't want to indict her onto the team and put her in danger, however it quickly became apparent that they were going to have quite the fight if they planned on stopping her.

On the forth day, they would get their next mission in an unexpected way. In the living room sat Peter, Raven, May, Superboy, Megan, and Tim. On the end of the couch, Raven sat with a book propped up on her knees, while May sat next to her sketching with some headphones in. Peter sat on the other side of her, watching the TV as Tim flipped through the channels.

"Dude, PLEASE pick something before I take it from you." Superboy sighed with his arms folded.

"I'm trying, there's just NOTHING on." Tim sighed with a bored look.
