Peter walked down the bustling streets of Jump City, taking in the sounds and sights of other people. To not have to have such an expansive space all to himself made him practically giddy inside. Though, he knew if he had expressed such excitement out loud, the civilians probably would have thought he was some crazy homeless person.

As Peter caught a glimpse of his reflection, something he had rarely seen in what felt like years, was a most surreal experience. His hair messy, stubble formed on his face for what felt like the first time in his life. He wore his Spider-Man suit, sure, but an army green winter coat over it, and no mask.

Such things mattered little to him at this point, though he still desired some sense of privacy in life, so keeping his secret identity would still have been beneficial, so he kept the fur lined hood up to partially hide his face. These thoughts of reevaluating his life flooded his brain the more he walked through the city streets. For the first time in what felt like a long time, his focus wasn't on returning to his new home, because now he was here.

However, as he walked through the downtown area of the city, he came across a bank, with a digital sign outside telling everybody the temperature of eighty-two degrees. At first, he was simply taking in everything, breathing in the air, feeling the wind on his face. Then, he noticed the sign change to show the date and he was met with utter shock.

February Nineteenth... Two-thousand six.

Two years...

Two years had passed since he disappeared.

The realization made his stomach drop with dread. A lot could happen in only two years; a fact that he knew all too intimately. People could have died, people could have left. Though one thought, hung in his mind.

Where was Raven?

And if he found her, how would she react?

Peter could forgive himself all he wanted, but that wouldn't change how hurt or angry Raven might still have been. His only hope was that she had missed him as much as he missed her.

Now, the question, was where to go and what to do.

A thought, that initially didn't seem difficult at all. However, he soon came to realize that he remembered much of his experience within the Backrooms. Either the amnesia had not set in yet, or something he learned changed it. Such questions were far too strange for him to contemplate right now.

The answer quickly became clear to him, there was only one thing TO do.

Go home...

So Peter turned his wandering toward the west side of the city, passing by civilian after civilian, none of whom seemed to pay any attention to him. It wasn't long before he was looking at Titans tower again across the water. The giant T-shaped tower sticking out of the water on its own little island. His heart raced with excitement as he stared at it for a moment.

This was it...

He was about to be home.

Without thinking, Peter flicked his wrist, aiming for the tower itself, but only heard a dull fizzle.

"Huh?" He replied, looking at his web shooters for a moment, then nodded. "Oh, right, duh." He chuckled softly.

He shook his head in amusement as he took the gadgets off his wrist and stuffed them in his pocket. He sighed as he stared at the bay standing between himself and the tower. Knowing that he COULD swim across it, though not at all thrilled that he had to. He took a step back and stretched his legs and back to prepare.

"Ah well." He shrugged. "Better limber up." He joked to himself as he stared at the tower. "I mean, it's not like I can just-" he paused and flicked his wrist at the tower jokingly.
