The following day, Peter woke up to find the younger members of the team still riding the high from the mission the day before. It was clear their victory had them yearning for the next mission. Though, realizing that their eagerness had only grown despite the many things that went wrong, Peter couldn't help but be a bit worried about them.

They were going in the right direction, but he wondered if it was enough.

As he walked into the living room, crossing it toward the kitchen, he could overhear the younger members talking to each other.

"You know, I think the bad guys should be REAL scared with us around." Wally said, folding his arms confidently.

Tim spotted Peter as he was crossing the room and waved at him.

"Hey, Pete." He said, causing him to stop. "We got any more missions yet?"

"Not that I know of." He replied, with a shrug. "I'm the wrong person to ask about that."

"Man, I hope we have another one soon." Wally said eagerly.

"Another chance to make a difference." Kaldur nodded.

"Well don't be in too much of a hurry." Peter replied. "You guys still have some stuff to work out. And frankly, your teamwork still needs some work."

"Come on," Wally replied. "I'm sure you guys butted heads at times."

Peter nodded at that. "We did, but we didn't really solve anything until we worked together." He looked to Wally. "You're one of the fastest people alive, you don't have to charge right in. Get creative." The others gave surprised looks as he looked to Tim. "And just because you have spider powers now, doesn't mean you can beat everybody."

Tim blinked in confusion. "Yeah... I know that."

"You're never gonna beat a Kryptonian." He added. "There's gonna be a lot of people you can't fight." Tim nodded at that as Peter looked off hesitantly, before continuing. "Look, I get where you're all coming from. Trust me, I've been there."

"You have?" Megan replied with surprise.

"Yes. So I know what it's like to want to do more." He replied. "To carry more than I should. To do it all myself." Tim looked to his feet at that. "But believe me when I say that I would be LONG dead... if not for my friends."

Tim looked back at him with an understanding nod.

"I... never considered that." Kaldur looked off in thought.

Peter looked to Superboy at that, "Sure you're all strong... but you're stronger together." He explained. "Improve each other's strengths and look out for each other's weaknesses."

The clone's doubtful look faded after that and he too looked off in thought.

"Yeah..." Wally sighed. "I guess you have a point there."

The younger heroes all looked to each other for a moment, sharing a nod.

Then they looked back to Peter.

"We'll make sure we put in some training hours." Tim nodded.

"Good idea." Peter smirked in amusement, before continuing on his way toward the kitchen.

The younger heroes, then left in a group and headed for the training room. Then, as Peter entered the kitchen, barely paying attention, he suddenly caught a glimpse of purple out of the corner of his eye. He looked up and jumped with surprise when he found Raven standing in the kitchen, pouring herself some tea.
