Chapter 36- the present

Jens pov
I woke up and scrolled through Instagram. There was a pic that Hayes posted. It was me and him kissing each other and in the background you can see happy birthday Jen!

Aww I can't believe he posted it. I think I'm gonna post it to. The caption read:

Thanks for yesterday I had so much fun!😘 @hayesgrier

I put my phone down and went to the restroom and did my business. I took a shower and changed into something comfy. I was wearing a honey hoody (from honeybrandco) and my black Nikes sweatpants.

It was pretty chilly outside anyways. I almost forgot that yesterday my mom gave me a present. I got it out of my closet and sat down on my bed. When I opened it I saw an envelope.

I opened the envelope and saw a ticket. Once I read it I screamed. "You leave next month" my mom just popped out of nowhere. I gave her a huge hug cause I never been to L.A. before. "Thank you mom" I kissed her on the cheek then she left.

I texted Hayes to tell him I was going.

Me- HAYES IM GOING TO LA

Hayes- so am I

Me- what do u mean??

Hayes- I asked ur mom if u can go to LA with us and she said yes

Me- omg I'm so excited thank u😘

Hayes- anytime

Me- do u wanna have movie day today

Hayes- sure u know the drill

Me- yup

I didn't really care what I was wearing. I was just gonna go to 711 and come back home. I went into my moms room and asked her if I can have some money. She gave me some, said thanks and left.

*AT 711*

When I got there I saw Hayes near the entrance. I went up to him and said hi. We bought chips and Arizonas. "Do you wanna order pizza at my house" I asked him. "Ya sounds good" he said. We both left and went to my house.

*AT MY HOUSE*

"Home sweet home" I said plopping on the couch. "Let's watch lilo and stitch" Hayes suggested. "Yesss" I said. He put on Netflix while I ordered the pizza. "She's coming in 10 mins" I said sitting next to him.

I went upstairs and got a blanket for us since it's freezing. Hayes and I were basically matching today. The weather has been crazy lately. The doorbell rang and Hayes got up to go get it.

Hayes pov
I got up and answered the door. "Hi" she said. "Hey" I said back. "It's 8.99" when I was getting some money she winked at me. I was trying to find money fast. "Your cute, do you wanna go out some time" she asked me. I finally found money.

She passed me the box and gave her the money. Before she left I said "I have a girlfriend" then shut the door in front of her face. I sat on the couch and opened the box.

"Dig in" I said. Jen just laughed and grabbed a piece. When we were done I just cuddled with her. She snuggled up in my chest. She's so cute whenever she does that. It started raining outside and I heard thunder. "Can I stay here for tonight" I asked Jen.

"Of course" she said kissing me. She got up and went to the kitchen. I followed her and put my arms around her waist. "What are you doing" I asked her. "Making us hot cocoa", "yay" I said in a girly voice.

"I can't wait for next month" she said jumping up and down. "Same" when she was done making the hot chocolate we sat down watching American horror story. I like it now Jen got me into it.

*1 HOUR LATER*

I looked at Jen and she was sleeping. I turned off the tv and carried her bridal style up to her room. I got the blanket and put it on her. I gently put her on the bed and kissed her goodnight.

I turned off the lights and slept next to her with my arm around her waist. Minutes later I just fell asleep. I don't know how my life would've been without Jen she makes me smile and happy.
