Chapter 51- shopping for the baby

Baileys pov
Today was Saturday and we have a lot of things to do. I woke up multiple times to cheer Marie up. Jen insisted of going but I refused. So now I'm super duper tired. I opened my eyes slowly and looked on the floor where Jens air mattress was.

She wasn't there. I guess she went out for a bit. I called her and I could hear her ringtone. I looked all over and it was under her pillow. Damn it she left it here. Marie started crying again so I got up and fed her. I went to the restroom and did my morning routine.
"Breakfast is ready" my mom yelled from downstairs.

My siblings and I went downstairs and served ourselves. "Where's Jen" my mom asked. "I don't know she wasn't here when I woke up" I just shrugged it off and ate. I finished eating so I grabbed my stuff and told my mom I was gonna look around for Jen then left.

My mom was watching Marie for me. I almost forgot I can't drive without an adult. I went back inside and called for my sister Jamie. She agreed to come with me. I have my permit and all but I still need someone who's 18 or older with me. My sister is 22. I started driving around but didn't find Jen.

I checked everywhere. There's only one place I hadn't checked yet. I went near the gas station and saw Jen on the curb... SMOKING! What the hell she never does these kind of things. I parked and ran up to her. I literally smacked the cigarette out of her hand. "What the hell" she said getting up. "You don't drugs" I said madly.

"You don't know how I feel Bailey, I'm freakin depressed" she screamed at me. We stood quiet for a moment. "Actually Jen I have depressed before, so I do know how you feel" I said with a tear coming down my cheek. "I'm sorry" Jen said hugging me. "I should be the one apologizing" I said into her shoulder.

"We better get going my sister is in the car waiting" I said laughing. "Oh ok" Jen said laughing to. We got into the car and went to babies r us. My sister sat in the car while we shopped for Marie.

Jens pov
We went to the crib area. I found a cute lavender one. So I got that and we continued shopping. I bought her clothes, accessories, formula and other stuff. The cost was $244. That was a lot of money. After we got something to eat and took it home with us.

We went in baileys house and sat down on the table then started eating. After eating Bailey drove me to my house, also along with her sister. My phone started buzzing but I ignored it cause I was so busy right now. It took us at least 3 and a half hours to finish.

It was already 7:15. Once we were done we went back to baileys house. We entered and I saw baileys mom carrying Marie. They looked so cute. She looked at us and barely realized we were here. She handed me Marie. "Thank you so much for everything ms. Madison" I said. "Anytime and please call me Alyssa" she said laughing.

I went back to my house and put Marie into her new crib. Me and the girls basically did the whole nursery thing. It looked so cute cause of all the decorations. I went to my room and took a bath. I was still depressed and didn't know what to do about it.

After I changed into something cozy and laid in bed watching cupcake wars. My phone rang again. It was Hayes so I answered it. "Hey" I said trying to sound happy. "Babe you haven't been answering my phone calls and text messages in 2 days" he says sounding worried.

"Sorry I had a hard week" I sighed. "What's wrong" "my umm... Mom passed away" I said with tears coming out of my eyes already. "Omg babe I'm so sorry" he said sounding sad. Marie started crying. "What is that" Hayes asked. "That's my baby sister, Marie" "ahh she sounds so cute" I giggled and got up.

I put him on speaker so I can change Marie. "I can't wait to see her" he said excitedly. "Well she can't wait to see you" I said smiling. "Babe I gotta go I have to wake up early tomorrow I'll call you at night, ok" "ok goodnight, love you" "goodnight and love you to princess" he said then I hung up.

I went back into my room and sat on the edge of my bed. I stared at my dresser and thought really hard. I got up and got the razor out. I walked into the restroom and sat on the floor. Next thing you know I have 7 new cuts on my wrists. I started crying uncontrollably.

I put the razor back and tried falling asleep. But I couldn't for some reason. It took me and hour to finally doze off.
