Chapter 4- were breaking up

Jens pov
I woke up like at 7:00. I checked all of my social medias and I had a nonfiction from Twitter. It was Hayes, he tweeted:

Aww he's so cute. Well I don't want to be late for school. So I went to the restroom and brushed my teeth. I got dressed really quick, I was wearing some overalls, under it was a white crop top. And I just slipped on my dark blue toms.

I straightened my hair quickly and ran downstairs. I looked at the clock it was 7:45 and I had to be in school at 8:00.

I decided to skip breakfast, so I got my phone and my backpack and left running. It took me 5 mins to arrive at school. I looked at what time it was and I only had 2 mins till the bell rang.

I quickly ran to class. The bell rang till I reached the door. "I'm here I'm here" I say out of breath. I went straight to my seat and put my head down.

"Do want some of my water" Hayes asked. "Yes please" I say. "Here you go" he said handing me it. I drank it like it was my last bottle of water. I handed it to him and said thank you.

"Class today is the day" the teacher said. "For what" I simply asked. "To turn in your project" he said. "Omg I didn't even finish it" I said worried.

"It's right here" Hayes said taking it from the side of his desk. "How did you get it, it was in my room yesterday and I only did half of it" I said.

"Not to sound creepy or anything but I snuck in your room and took it, when I looked at it I knew it wasn't finished so I did everything" he said feeling proud.

"Omg thank you so much, I love you" I said hugging him. "Your welcome..... And..... I love you to" he said hugging back.

Everybody started saying aww out loud. "Quiet down everybody" the teacher said. "Ok so I'm gonna go around and check if you guys have finished the project, once I look at everything I will grade it" he said.

"Ok" everyone said.

Hayes pov
3 mins later he came to our desks. "Let me take a look at this" he said grabbing it. "Well guys you have done an amazing job with the project" he said.

"I'll give you guys an A, good job" he said then left. "Woah" I said raising my hands in the air.

"We shall celebrate for the grade that we got" I said. "Ok sounds fun" Jen says. "But nothing to big" she says. "I know..... Oh we should go get some ice cream and have a walk in the park" I said.

"K" she says. Then the bell rang so Jen and I grabbed our stuff and walked out of the room hand in hand. 2nd period is where we have different classes so I dropped off Jen at her class and walked to mine.

I had P.E and Jen had math. Our class ended yay! That's when the bell rang and I was heading my way to pick up Jen until my ex girlfriend came in front me.

"I know you still miss me" she said. "No I don't, get away from me" I tried pushing through. But she grabbed my shirt and then she leaned in and kissed me.

I pulled away but I heard a gasp behind Hanna (his ex) I looked behind her and saw Jen. I saw the expression on her face and she was already tearing up.

She turned back and started running out of the school. "Jen wait" I say following her. She finally stopped and cried.

I caught up to her and hugged her. "Get away from me" she said pushing me. "Jen please let me explain" I said.

"I don't need no explanation" she says with tears in her eyes.

Jens pov
"Hayes I can't believe I'm saying this but...... WERE THROUGH" I say and walked all the way home.

When I got inside of my house i said to myself I'm glad my mom isn't here. I went straight upstairs, sat on my bed and started crying my eyes out.

My phone started ringing maybe like 8 times. And 20 text messages from Hayes. I didn't even answer him because I was to sad and mad at him.

*DINNER TIME*

"Dinner is ready" my mom yelled. "Coming" I say coming downstairs. My mom cooked spaghetti yum! I put the plates on the table and we both started eating.

"So how was your day" my mom asked. "Good" I lied. "Me and Hayes passed, we got an A on our project" I say with a fake smile.

"That's good sweetie I'm proud of you" she says. "Thanks" I say eating my dinner. "Umm.... Why are your eyes red" my mom asked me.

"Lack of sleep" I say lying again. "Do you want to use my eye drop medicine" she asked. "No thanks mom I'm fine" I say eating my last meatball on my plate.

"Thank you for the dinner mom that was so good" I say hugging her then going upstairs.

Hayes pov
I felt so lonely, without Jen I'm just a mess. She's my everything and I miss her so much. I felt a tear go down my cheek.

I wiped it away trying be strong. I need to try to get her back. I literally skipped dinner cause I wasn't hungry. I hope I don't become anorexic because of this.

I tried calling her but it went straight to voicemail. I guess I'll just leave one. "Umm... Jen please forgive me, I didn't kiss her back I pushed her away. I'm nothing without you Jen and I need you so much. Your my everything" I whispered into the phone.

"Just remember I love you only you, nobody else. Your the only one I care about. I'm a mess without you, at least let me explain tomorrow" I say then hung up.

When I hung up I decided to go to sleep.
