Rather than emotions, Shen Minglou is more immersed in his career.

Qin Zhi Chen nods and takes the toy from his daughter, placing it to the side on the sofa. He tells Qin Yuanyuan, "I'll go prepare some soup for daddy, don't let him fall asleep."

Shen Minglou sits back down, watching Qin Yuanyuan, fearing she might fall, but she walks steadily, bringing a few notebooks from the dining table to him.
