This brave young hero , according to many witness accounts , grabbed the bomb and isolated it away from the actual school building. The young hero is also reportedly being treated at St. Paul's Hospital for bombing related injuries. We will stay on top of this still developing story. Gerald HighTower stood in his very own backyard of his Evergreen Acres home between his nephew David and Homicide Detective Faith Lane. Next to Faith stood her partner Nita Browne. They all silently and grimly watched as the assorted uniformed police officers proceeded to dig into the rose garden that his wife Penelope had once loved so much. David's hand was placed on his uncle's trembling shoulder. Gerald and Faith chose not to look at each other especially in the aftermath of Faith telling him the entire truth of the whole sordid little tale that had been Pamela's plot against them all.
" We found something , " they heard one officer suddenly cry out. " Looks like a decaying body to me. "
Gerald gasped in horror and his body swayed in place but to his credit the big man stayed on his feet. David bit his lip gloss wearing lips as he squeezed his uncle's arm and said quietly , " I'm sorry , Uncle Gerald. I really am. " Faith's gaze slowly went to the older man's grief stricken face and even with her part in his grief her heart suddenly went out to him. She reached for his hand and squeezed it firmly , saying , " Yes. I too am sorry , Mr. HighTower. "
Gerald's eyes filled with tears as he stared at her dark brown face. " So am I , Detective Lane. So am I. I'm going back in the house. I can not watch anymore. "

Pamela Perkins was in the operating room at St. Paul's Hospital with the surgeons steadily removing the bullet that had been fired and lodged into her chest. As she slept on her mind dreamed about killing Faith Lane. On the table her lips began to smile.

The waiting room was filled with the family and friends of Theodore Rochester. Richard and Nigel who held their young foster daughter who was asleep in his lap. Jenessa and Nicholas. Andrew and Glory. Alfred. Lyle and Angel. Luci who was crying in Sol's arms. Rebecca , Lewis and Richie.
In the triage room Theodore still remained unconscious on the stretcher. By his side were Spencer in his wheelchair and DuBuis. And , Alan Kendall , as well , holding his hand tightly. Alan lowered his head down to Theodore's ear , saying in a nearly pleading voice , " Please wake up. We have a date. Remember ? Don't stand me up. "
Suddenly his eyelids began to flutter slightly for a few seconds to their encouragement until his eyes slowly opened. Theodore looked groggy and glazed as he stared at them all.
Spencer's lips shook as he said , " DuBuis , sweetie , he's awake ! Thank...... He's awake ! "
DuBuis smiled slightly and left the room to find the ER doctor. And to tell their family.
Alan laughed in amazed wonder , and he pressed a soft kiss to his forehead.
Spencer reached out to touch his nephew on the arm which had Theodore turning his head to look at his uncle. " You're awake ! You scared us ! Don't ever do anything like this again. Please."
Theodore shook his head in confusion. He said in a voice that was a little too loud , " What did you say , Uncle Spencer ? Speak louder. I can't hear you. "
