" WHAT ! ," LuLu Simms screamed in the kitchen that next morning as her husband Jonah watched her in horrified surprise.

Jonah thought that her pregnancy hormones were getting really bad. Funny. None of the women in his family acted this bad when they were pregnant. Except for his cousin Bernice but she was carrying twins that turned into triplets. His eyes widened in even more horror. He hoped and prayed that his wife was not carrying twins or triplets. She was getting very large, he mused as his eyes settled on her rounded belly in her brand new maternity dress from the mall.

" What do you mean that brother of yours called to say the idiot judge rejected our petition to overturn that old lady's will ! ," she screeched as she reached for a cast iron pot off the stove and threw it at the wall near the pantry. Next to follow was the ceramic cookie jar shaped like a ice cream cone. It shattered in what seemed like dozens of broken shards onto the tiled floor. " This is ridiculous ! You mean that obnoxious man gets to keep all that money ! "

Jonah reached for his wife's hands and she batted him away in a furious rage. " I'm afraid so, my dear. I said we should appeal but Marcus said it was a waste of time. " Actually, he mused , what Marcus had really said was they stood a better chance of their last name really becoming Salmon than they did winning this ridiculous case of his wife's.
