He missed Luci. And so did the rest of them.
Luci didn't miss a word she was reading and didn't look at him as she mumbled," Not hungry. I had a big lunch at school. I have to finish this chapter. "
DuBuis sighed. " Not acceptable , LLLuci. No. Dinner is fffamily time. Get your behind downstairs. "
Luci lifted her head up, her hair hiding her face. She still wouldn't look his way. " I said no ! Ok ? Why do you always have to make a big deal out of everything? Like.... " She shook her head. " Just go away. Please. "
